"Well, whatever the non-troll equivalent is."

"You're getting taught by...wait...you mean our Mountain, or somebody else?"

"Oh, Mountain Emmit " he says "That guy knows some scary shit!"

"Oh, yeah...Mountain Emmit, he's pretty amazing." Sylvi grins. "So does he think this wizard thing is a good idea? Like, a good direction for you to go?"

She covers a bit of a yawn that doesn't seem to be related to the subject matter.

"I'm telling you - magic staff."

"Not sure what the title would be for a great wizard in a traggo... we're kind of informal we satyrs" Scratching his chin "I'll ask around, we'll have more satyrs soon so no big... but yeah, magic staff." Then a look to Sylvi "He took me as his apprentice so I hope so."

"Cool. Wait...more satyrs? Why more satyrs?"

"oh, uhm.. well, see, mom and dad were talking that with Brenda,,, Adam's mom, a satyress, that we were close to having a local traggo maybe.. and it might be cool to get one for the barony ...and then they uhmm.. thought abouth ow you guys got more trolls. You know, rescuing folks from natural disasters, helping trolls down on their luck, inviting others... and so .. we're kind of doing the same.""

This is likely news to the trolls, and they may realize if the Chief knows of this she's given no sign, and doesn't look stressed enough that she has heard of more chances for the Gift of Pan.

Sylvi thinks about this a moment, then grins. "I think that's cool. Like...welcoming folks into your extended family."

"Weellll... " A grin "I'm hoping some very unrelated Satyrs coming in are hot if that tells you anything?"

"So, like... just inviting them here?"

"Adults?"

"Well NOT Inviting to the lodge per se... just the barony. and not sure if we'll get wilders or grumps or childlings.. Traggos are about fun of all sorts, not just sexy fun time so if we get mostly grumps who knows they'll probably play chess with dad."

"Yeah, no, I get it. Kind of like...well, a traggo is like a satyr motley, right? So...why not?"

"Just wondering, like, dunno... other kids like me or Nadeen?" Shrug.

"Thanks, Sylvi, and Dagmar, I hope we get at least one guy or gal satyr my or Piper's age, so maybe you'll make a friend? Heck, some satyrs are into athletics as their passion, they might join you in track"

"I bet there'd be other kids, if you guys are putting out a general call. I mean...there's a lot of changelings who don't have family and are looking for a place to land."

"Yeah..."

"And Rivervale is a good home."

A nod, and he seems happy "And you know, whatever their passion, it'll be cool. I found mine. I feel... well, I imagine a satyr without a passion is like a troll without duty?"

"But i can't really say what it's like to be a troll"

"Maybe we should find you those cookies and just cycle through."

"Ha." A grin

Sylvi considers that. "Okay...yeah, I guess that makes sense. I still don't know if I really get why the magic stuff is your passion, though."

"It's the closest thing there is to making love to the Dreaming itself" He tells Sylvi, "And I want to , no, need, to feel her shudder under over, and around me. "

Straight faced serious.

Nose-wrinkle.

"Or" He says, thinking about it "it's.. like being part of the music itself instead of just playing it."

A wide-eyed look at that.

Then she clears her throat a bit. "Oh."

He notices their expressions "Trolls. " but he smiles after he says it.

Sylvi rolls her eyes a bit. "I hate the way people say that like it means 'prudes.'" She folds her arms and rests her head on them, looking over at Zane and Dagmar still.

"Well, you should hear folks say 'satyrs'" he points out, "But okay. I apologize if I offended. "

A guilty grin. "Okay, fair point."

"I am a prude."

"Like, there's a lot of stuff that skeeves me out"

" I appreciate you girls support. I know I've been a stranger lately. Cant' say that will change with me studying school AND magic." and he looks at Dagmar, "Hey, you might be, but I've never heard you tell me what I HAVE to do with my life, if all prudes were like that? Cooler world"

"Maybe, but that's not because you're a troll." Sylvi shrugs a bit.

"You're going to be spending a lot of time up at the Farm, then, Zane?"

"Well, that's your business, not mine. Yeah?'

"Yup. And, apparently I am not allowed to help the wilder girls there access their primal inner goddess energies." A sigh

"Oof. Yeah, might be tempting, but you do NOT want to mess with those farmers' daughters."

"Jeez, Zane, do you want to get turned into a tree or something?"

"The daughters themselves might not mind, but well...they try to keep it all troll as much as possible."

"A TREE is MUCH nicer than what Chieftain Clem threatened" A gulp at the memory

"I imagine..." another stifled yawn "...it had something to do with losing bits?"

"How did you ... yeah, she threatened to turn me into a living ken doll... smooth on both sides"
