Kerri rocks Connor a bit, rumpling his hair gently. "Should we talk about it later?" she asks Olgar quietly.

"Yes." Olgar says

She nods.

Then a sigh. "How much of a wreck is the place?"

Meanwhile, Connor has actually dozed off. He may not have slept much the last few days, and who knows how long he was off on his quest in the dreaming?

She notes this and points out to Olgar, "I think he's asleep."

"Actually," Olgar says "I may miss a few things too but... well, Sally Mae was out for the first part and the girls did great backing up. The food was..a bit bland at times, but they did okay. Sally Mae got here, and it picked up. She did you proud. She's got osmething eating her about family though."

"They're not pressuring her to marry again, I hope."

"More like..well, I think it's more like she got told to ASSIST the New Lodge Colton is at ... rather than be a Hearth herself."

"Oh. Hm." A thoughtful frown. "She's there now?"

"Nope. I think she told them to kiss her ass and that she was as good a hearth as any kithain alive save Agnes and yourself"

"She's working here, busting her hump on finances, Cooking, Cleaning, and comforting... though the last she admits is a bit crazy"

He coughs

A look. "Is that an cough-of-subtext? Or is it an I-overworked-my-fool-ass-taking-care-of-my-lovely-wife-and-now-I'm-getting-sick cough?"

"Ah... must be subtext" He tries. It does not work..as he sniffles.

The idiot has caught it.

Good news, now taht she knows what it was, she might be able to prevent his from getting as bad.

"Quick...kiss me. Maybe, unlike Romeo, the juice lingers on my lips." A mischievous grin.

He looks unsure, then gives her a peck.\

Then glamour sparks

She urges it with a wish to heal him before the sickness really takes hold.

...with maybe a little tweak of a Heatherbalm to back it up.

"It worked" Surprised

A pleased smile. "Whew! I'm glad. You're a cranky old bear when you're sick."

"Now...." she whispers as Connor snores quietly in her arms. "Gerd...?"

"Gerd finally admited to herself that she saw Vali like a dad in a lot of ways, and readied to move to their place. Big room or not. Brave of her. Dagmar helped her see it. Then she told Connor while she was carrying a box and... " A look to Connor "Little brother broke into tears. She stopped moving."

"Oh...oh, poor kid." She cuddles the boy softly, careful not to wake him.

"Yeah. Both of them. Gerd is putting him over herself. It's... actually one of the most seelie troll moments I've seen Gerd do. She's got duty locked down in that she will not leave him in tears."

A sigh. "Well...in that sense, yes, I'm impressed. But this is going to have to be resolved. They're both stuck."

"Yeah. I think Connor might come around. Vali is... well, Vali won't tell Gerd this, but he stuck his neck out to rearrange the house, to get Tiffany on board, and more... then rug pulled YANK."

"Well, they've been getting plenty of practice with bucking rugs, what with all the changes they've been through in the last year or so."

"Mm now let's see. Siv is getting run ragged by the Fiona training. She's confused why she had to go into the art gallery and THINK About the art. Dagmar is helping her get better at horses."

"Oh, I bet Dagmar likes being the teacher in that arrangement." A pause. "As far as you know, the Fiona aren't running Siv too ragged, are they?" A significant look.

"Far as I know, she's not having to bed anyone. But Jonas is growling and snarling..and that's when he's NOT a panther or something. He doesn't see why she needs to join a House...thinkjs Troll Culture is good enough."

"Well, I can't say I disagree with him there," she mutters a bit undertone, but then sighs. "It calls to her, and if that's how it is, that's how it is."

"Besides, being who she is...being how she is...she's going to be much more comfortable spending more time in courts and glamour-filled spaces than amidst mortals."

"Yeah. But on the other hand, she shouldn't expect him to do hand stands and cheer her on so much about it"

"Does she?"

"I think she is thinking everyone should be happy for her to have found her path "

"She's excited," she says easily as if that explains and excuses all.

"And she wants others to be excited too." A nod "Baby, I don't know how to tell you this, but I think Dagmar and she want to go questing like..yesterday. They held it off for you" A smile "They didn't tell me, but ..you hear things."

"Held it off for me?" A blink, then... a grin. "They've been caretaking. Defending the Lodge."

"Yup. Sylvi too, of course. Proud of her. But it's kept her from visiting Colton and she's getting a bit surly" A chuckle "I think, after this, EVERYONE is aware how needful the Hearth is , if they weren't before."

She nods, but her smile fades a bit. "I thought I had back up systems in place, though. Sally Mae, Brogan...." She looks troubled.

"Sally Mae was in family clutches but came here as quickly as possible. Brogan is..." He pauses "Crap. I haven't seen him in a while."

She blinks. "You haven't seen him."

"I've been with you. Maybe he was working while I was in here?"

"Okay. Yes...." A nod, though she's still frowning. "I suppose I should get up and shower, and then start getting things back in order again."

He makes a sniff like something smells a bit off, "I think the shower is an EXCELLENT Idea'
