"No left overs from me, and yes, grabbing food here is the way to go" Gerd says.

"Is that a present?" Peering at the bag. "There's a visitor here, and he's going to do the night shift, but it would be the night shift even if he worked during the day." He explains to Gerd

"Witch stuff, sorry, Connor" Gerd says but smiles

Sally Mae enters in light blush but also looking pleased, "He loves it."

"Which stuff?"

"Which stuff?" He echoes unintentionally.

"Not which like einey meany miney moe, witch stuff like pointy hats and broom riding" Gerd says

"But you don't even need a broom to fly." He offers in a logical tone.

"I missed something" Sally Mae says and prepares a plate for Connor and Siv

"And you don't have ANY warts yet. Oh. Do you need a toad?"

"I know where I can find a GOOD one, but you have to promise not to put him in a stew."

"I appreciate it, Connor, but I must be mysterious and sneaky, a force of the arcane" Gerd says loftily.

"As a force of the Barkane, I understand." He says, attempting to Out-Lofty her.

Gerd breaks into a laugh and gives him a hug, bag swaying behind his head.

He sneaks a curious snuffle at the bag, but otherwise doesn't try to peep.

It smells of mushrooms? Maybe?

Sally Mae says "Dagmar, I have some fruits to give to Snow if you want to carry some home with you."

"Are there LOTS of fruit? She like lots and lots. I can help carry if you need me to."

"Peaches, Apples, and lots of blueberries" Sally Mae says

"I'm sure hse'll love it, thank you."

Sally Mae hands Dagmar the bag and whispers "Congrats on getting your dad back for night shifts."

A quiet smile

And some fruit is given to Connor too.

SIv gets her plate "Thanks again" And darts out to munch

He grins to Sallie May. "I'll do a good job delivering. I wanted to go see Snow today anyways."

Gerd says "Okay. I gota put these away" She kisses connor on the forehead, "Don't stay up too late"

"Never do."

And Sally Mae smiles, and goes into Hearth mode "Not to be rude but I have to finish this AUdiobook and see if the girl gets the guy" And puts her ear buds in.

Gerd wags a finger at him, but smiles at all and heads out.

"Gets him and does what with him?" He asks, but earbuds are in, and Gerd is up the stairs. He peers at Dagmar and wrinkles up his nose. "I bet they mean smoochin'.

"Yeah, probably. C'mon, let's go see Snow."

He nods and trots after her, though with a few backward glances towards the way Gerd wandered off.
