She mixes up a fresh pitcher of Kool Blue Rock-n-Razz

"Ah," Sally Mae says "Connor's worked hard and deserves it."

"Yeah. Not a slurpee, but close?"

Dr. Pepper, of course, for her.

He beams. "It's even better, because I can slurp it without my head going all icy! Thanks." A smile, and he offers a glass to the sidhe anyways...

"Very close. " A nod a cough "How's it going out there with your dad and Carawyn? did.. he take the job?"

"If he's allowed to stay, yeah. Depends on the Chief."

"The Chief will do the boon and find out he's fine I suspect." A bliush at something

"Oh, yeah - he's pretty upfront."

A mutter from the Hearth trainee

"Huh?"

"Nothing" Lie

"Nothing important" Clarified. (True)

"Well, maybe go see if he wants food?"

A nod "Oh I ..actually have food for him already. " A blush "Do you and your father want some or will you be eating at home?"

"I think eating at home. Connor, have you eaten?"

"I haven't eaten since the last time I've eaten." Sallie Mae is PRETTY sure that she just made several peanutbutter sandwiches for someone...

"You're as bad as Snow."

"I'm as WISE as Snow. Snow said so herself."

"Mmm well, I hope you like Shrimp"

"Seabugs!" He grins.

She Shrimp platter is pulled out "Iowan Shrimp Fried Rice"

The Shrimp chosen is on the large side.

There's a sniffing sound from the door, and it's not Oak, Brown Dog, or Eddie

Connor sniffs back, curiously.

It's Siv!

Who can smell Sea food from a block away. No logical reason

"Is that Shrimp?" Siv says peeking in.

Snort.

"Siv! You went away and were gone forever!" He gives her a hug! "You can even have some of the shrimp I made. Well. Sallie Mae made it. But I gave her the recipe."

Siv returns the hug "You did? Thank you " A look to Sally Mae 'And yes, please?"

"Did you see my new friend?" He asks, casting a shy glance back towards the main room.

"FIne, I got enough for three, and you're welcome," Sally Mae says, but she prepares one plate with a larger shrimp

"I did, he's very handsome," Siv says, then she smiles at Dagmar "And your dad got someone for the night shift! Congratulations."

"Yeah..." A little smile.

"I told him I would do it, but I guess I need my beauty sleep. The new Knight already got PLENTY."

Snerk.

Sally Mae says 'Now now, let's not make a fuss over him. He's just another kithain." then she checks her hair, and takes the plate with the biggest shrimp out

Siv watches her go with amusement.

He giggles after Sallie May, and then sneaks a shrimp from the pot - tossing it from hand to hand to cool, and then gobbling it down.

Siv turns , sure she missed something "Dagmar, did you hear something?"

"Me? Hear what?"

He tilts his head, listening obligingly.

"Nevermind" Siv says.

Connor covers up a yawn.

That's when Gerd appears in a flash clutching a small bag.

"Whew" she says "I.. wow, everyone is in the kitchen. " Gerd notes

Connor straightens up and looks like he's about to pounce Gerd, but then he settles, with a quick glance at Dagmar. "Gerd! I cooked shrimps for Siv, but you can have one if you want?"

"Oh, did you bring us some leftovers from dinner? Did Thane Tiffany cook?" He gives a polite wag of his tail - this may be the least interested he has EVER looked regarding food...
