Star lands with a kind of skip on the first landing then more solidly on the second! Oh she's got a bit of a lather but she's happy.

Gerd greets them, "Hey, you and your horse are flying now? Just with a magic saddle. Some of of us had to work to fly." Faux hurumph , she can't hide how delighted she was to see a flying horse

"Um, there was work for this treasure, thank you."

"But yeah. Pretty cool, huh?"

"Fantastic" She pats Star "I'd help you wash her down at the stable but I got to pay my dues to Olgar and Uncle Vali" A sigh

"Oh yeah? How did that work out?"

"Ugh. I have to clean up every yard in the neighborhood without flicker flash, " A face, "Even McGillicuddy's. But firstr every fae yard because ..community. They think maybe I'll learn to respect my fae peers persons more. I DO respect them, I just think their persons sometimes need to be somewhere else"

Star might understand some of that because she nickers amused

"Hmph. Seems an overreaction."

"I mean, it was funny as hell."

"Shh don't tell them, they might close the loophole" A nod "But I thought of the same thing yeah" A smile

"Hey, I'm no snitch."

"True. And with Sally Mae coming back today at least I'm not leaving you, Sylvi and Siv in a lurch. THAT would have made me feel like shit" She strokes Star "You are so much more of a dancer than blue bell, Star."

"Oh yeah, she's back."

"Great! I don't know about you, but I Only know so many recipes with confidence"

"Well, Tove helped."

"She did, though I'm not as fond of spice as you, and she says you acted as her hands. She's rather proud of you, you know that right?"

Gerd does walk with the horse and Dagmar back towards the stables

"Well, I mean... Tove's Tove." Blush.

"She's cool" A nod

"Yeah, she is. She's gonna be a great mom."

"She already is, even though you don't use that title for it." Gerd says "Which is cool. You prefer to call her Tove, but she does the awesome whatever you call her."

"Well... I mean.. well.." She frowns. "They both deserve, like, the perfect baby."

Gerd says "No such thing as a perfect kid of ANY Age. You're a great teenager/wilder compared to many and they're glad to have you, but you aren't perfect. Neither am I. the baby is gonna cry, poop, and make trouble."

"Good news is, when you need a break from that, you got us to hang with or babysit for you, and you've got Star to fly with."

"...I mean, yeah."

"Everybody keeps saying. But, like, you ever know something but, like, know something?"

"Like... a feeling in your gut or something else?"

"I guess gut..."

"I know that Vegard used to say some truths you have to let folks find for themselves," She sits down on a railing at the stable.

"So, we can TELL you what we think is true, but it's not wrong that you need to find out for yourself. But ..that's not quite what you mean I guess?"

Dag strips Star's tack before brshing her down as Gerd talks.

"I think maybe it might be?"

"I mean... you all... I dunno. I know I want it to be true."

"But you've wanted things to be true before, only to have it bite you in the ass. So you're not crazy about hoping for the best if it just means those hopes will go blammo." A nod "I..can actually relate to that one."

"..Yeah.."

"Some days are easier than others."

"Too bad we don't get to pick which days come when huh?"

"Right?!"

"Mondays for misery, but my weekends would be AWESOME' Wistful

"Man, yeah." Echoing the emotion.

"But we roll with what we get by leaning on who we got," Gerd says "I'm sorry if we harp on how great having the kid will be. I guess we just worry you're going to distance yourself too much from your parents because of this new kid, and cheat yourself of the good you have. Me? If I had a milion dollars, I'd honestly be willing to bet that your folks will still love you. Honest."

"I get why Sylvi and Siv don't understand."

"I worry I play it too much like scratched vinyl, but yeah. My parents died. It happened, you know? And now Vali's got a new family, and... I'm scared of really trying to get back in...because if it goes official and doesn't work.. it'll " A sigh "Well, it'll hammer home how I don't get parents. NOt in this life"
