Well, that she approves of.

Stripped of gear and weapons, the three figures become prisoners. The horses? They're unhurt... but Stormwake is nuzzling and fussing over Star with concern and contriteness combined.

She huffs at him. See, if they had stayed in the nice, warm barn...

Then again, it WAS very fun to shake that nasty fellow. Craning her head as they passed to see if she could catch a glimpse, or maybe even another nip at him.

The cowards..err prisoners appear to be indoors. No more nips there.

A stamp of her hoof. They showed THEM. She hopes she broke something. That might learn 'em.

Once the prisoners are secured, Dag goes back to check on the horses.

Stormwake nods, stomps agreement then looks at Dagmar

Star turns to gaze at the troll as well.

"You guys okay? I brought apples."

Stormwake nuzzles Star, and looks to Dagmar as if to say let her have my apple

She holds out the fruit, one in each hand.

Star moves forward, leaning past the treats and nuzzles at Dagmar, snuffling her hair and checking her over. All intact?

The troll seems well!

She circles around, snuffling her well, before seemingly satisfied. A soft nicker, and she nudges the Troll affectionately. For a two-legs, she's practically a four-legs.

Hayheart gets nuzzled by Stormwake as well.

"I know, I was scared too! I'm glad you're safe."

A whinny, and Star poses for a moment, head held high in triumph. And then, she seeks her apple. Victorious, and to the spoils.

Stormwake makes a horsey sigh.

He's not going to win any arguement for at least a week, he can tell

"Good horses." Pat pat pat. And she'll make sure they're well-secured for the night. SHE spends it planted on an upturned bucket outside the stable... just in case.

Star takes up station on one side of Dagmar, nibbling at hay and providing a heated wall on one side.

She might doze off for a little while, but her heart is in the right place.

Her father will show up, frown, and then come back, and bring a much warmer blanket for her

And if she wakes up in her own bed in the mroning and goes out, she might find Jaymes took her post. It was important to her, so it's important to hm.
