"I want to check if Symon and Dirk know...but Zane totally does."

"There's a RAVE?" Gerd says eyes wide

"Zane even invited Adam before telling us."

"Well. Zane and I are looking out for Adam, yeah?"

"Sounds like. I mean...I've never been to one..." she admits.

"So, I mean..." Shrug.

Gerd blinks, "What..what is it with Adam? Does he digest food and execrete GOLD bricks that everyone makes like this amazing fuss over all his shit?"

"Yeah, but Zane invited Adam before inviting you, Dagmar. That's not cool."

"Symon might not like it. Crowds. Please no Dirk, for fuck's sake."

"Well, like - narcs."

"I mean, I get it."

"Yeah, Dagmar figured it out, and Zane confirmed...they don't trust us not to tell the Chieftain."

Siv says "It's not just just Adam, apparently more than a few Kinain go there"

"And why not Dirk? He was a total asshole before he started doing studygroup with us. Maybe he'd be good at the party, too!"

Gerd frowns "Saying Dirk is better is like saying..." She pauses 'Oh wait, Zane is in the know? That means Nadeen might be right?"

"I...guess? Yeah, Nadeen probably is...." Another look to Dagmar.

"Oh wow. Well, Nadeen IS his girlfriend" Siv says.

"I know i'm new to the wilder thing but damn" Gerd

"I mean, I guess Nadeen probably is?"

"So, like, nobody told us."

"Well, I sitll think tha'ts mostly on me," Siv wrinkles her nose "But they didn't know I took my GPS off."

"Siv, fuckin' stop it."

"They didn't tell any of the lodge trolls, not just you, and it isn't you."

"And I still stay that everybody knows about you taking the Kestrel and then jousting the car...nobody thinks of you as being a goody-two-shoes. That's me, apparently."

She rolls her eyes.

Gerd looks at Dagmar "They been doing this a lot?"

Sylvi sighs. "Anyway...Dagmar got the info out of Zane, and we're totally going to the next one. BUT...Connor was under the bed while we were planning just now, so I distracted him from 'the party' with the idea of a 'Connor party' because he plays hide-and-seek so well."

Gerd actually snickers at that "No WONDER he was so excited"

"Yeah. We promised marshmallows."

"And a fire."

"And I'm going to make a certificate recognizing him as the champion hide-and-seeker."

"Write it in invisible ink then do the lemon juice trick in front of him" Gerd suggests

"Oh! Yes!"

"Cool!"

Siv grins "Like that"

Gerd smiles "Little Brother deserves the works"

"He does. He's worried about being the last one left if we all get eaten by the Dragon."

Gerd sighs "Poor little guy. Yeah, I'll talk to him about that if need be."

"Well, we're not gonna. And soon we're gonna be getting that lance, too.."

Siv nods "Damn straight. Now... about both parties. Gerd, you coming?"

"Well, of COURSE to Connors. Not sure about the Gloaming though" She sniffs "Sounds kind of like it's trying too hard"

Sylvi hesitates. "Or...you want us to scope it out, first?"

A shrug. "It might be, yeah."

"Well, you can keep our secret, at least."

"Sure" Gerd says "I can even cover for you"

Sylvi smiles. "I was hoping you'd say that."

"Let's face it, I'd be the 'baby of the group' there. That would suck SO much" The youngest wilder says

"Oh, Gerd, you rock."

Siv grins "Thanks, Gerd."

"We will see if there are other wilders your age there?"
