Dagmar and Siv feel triumphant, victoriously returning with prizes and more.

"I felt bad looting the bad guys, but then, they were going to do it to Puff"

"I don't feel bad looting bad guys."

"...Maybe I'd feel it if the ogre hadn't tried to cut me in ha-..." She stops, and frowns.

"...if you die in the Dreaming, do you die for real?"

A pause, then "For most, it means death for real.. but.." She says "Some project themselves in by methods beyond me. They go into comas"

Dagmar frowns and nods, but doesn't say anything. Her jaw is tight.

"His armor looked good, but it failed when he needed it. You obeyed the code. Might for Might. I was there.. and though it was the Dreaming, there was no dishonor in it. You risked your own life for Puff."

"But the Escheat says..." A frown. "And I didn't... I just wanted to stop him."

"In the Dreaming, Chimerical and Mortal are one... and I remember he challenged you too...Dagmar, I can lawyer this good, but you'll not be comforted by that. Let's just say, my dad and sister both have killed sidhe in the Dreaming, and sidhe don't come back. If you're guilty of being in a fight that lead to death trying to protect someone? you're in good company"

She hesitates. "He woulda killed me, if he could've. Right?"

"Look at me," Siv says pointing to her eyes, "And use that boon. I was there. Mists or not , I remember this. He was trying to kill Puff. And he was trying to kill you."

Utterly true.

She bites on her lower lip and nods.

"I'm sorry, I wish his armor wasn't shite so you wouldn't be going through this" And Siv hugs her cousin, "mostly I remember you helping Puff and Puff helping a little girl"

"..Malia. From Paramus. Yeah." She smiles.

"And you're still looking after her, even in the Dreaming" Siv parts from the hug "Not everyone would think to do that"

"Well.. I mean.." Shrug. "There's lots that... there's lots of kids."

A nod "Yeah." Siv lays somethings out on the table, not the least of which is the Shamshir

"Oh! Where did? I don't remember that. It's a Shamshir..."

"Can I have it? I know someone who'd like it."

"Is THAT what it's called? I keep ..argh .. oh of course you can have it." She says "I'll be taking this." She grabs an odd looking doohicky "it's a Sextant... fine tool for navigation. Your turn for next pick" A smile. Remaining on the table is a set of silver lock picks, a dagger that for a troll is more of a knife but good quality , a necklace of gold with a single sapphire stone, and lastly a saxxon horned helmet

She kenns the necklace, curious.

A bit of glamour to it, but if it's a treasure it's a weak one.

She picks it up. "Do you think Tove would like this?"

"It would look glorious on her actually"

"It has glamour. I hope it's not jinxed..."

"Well, you can call dibs and get it looked over later with willowwhispers and omens?"

"True."

"I bet it's okay, though."

"Yeah. I don't think most bad guys carry cursed objects they themselves are using"

"Yeah. I'll let Tove know where it came from."

"Okay so that's your next pick. I guess mmm You know, the helmet is just not my style" She takes the dagger

The helmet has impressive horns to be sure

"Eh. I do have a helmet, it matches my armor..."

"Symon might like the lock picks, though.."

"Oh. I forgot about the lockpicks" She winces

"Do you want them?"

"They could suit you." She nods.

"Yeah, let's swap that" She puts the dagger back and takes the pick, "Sorry. I may need some..well, they might be useful for things"

Leaving the dagger or helm now

She picks up the dagger, trying the balance. "I was just saying I needed something for times when I can't use Flyswatter..."

"I mean, I punch pretty hard, but.."

The balance is good, expert even, could be thrown.

It doeesn't look fancy, but the feel? Good. Precise.

"Make a great boot knife for you," Siv admits

"Yeah. Hey, you know much about throwing?"

"I play darts and have thrown knives. On the other hand YOU know discuss and shotput" A grin "but either way practice"

"if you want the knife there take it, I'm good"
