"I know at least six of them and..." At the mention of Jessica's name, "Oh yeah. I know who it is. At least I think I do."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. Thanks, Dagmar."

"...It was okay I didn't let her into the Lodge?"

"She didn't ask for Haven, and didn't give a proper name.. and.."

"Did you tell her she couldn't come in, or did you just sort of stand in the way?"

"I just sorta stood there. And when she said sh was looking for you and said it was for a message, I said I'd deliver the message."

"I didn't tell her if you were here or not."

"Sounds to me like you did fine. Look, Storm is in charge of security more or less, or at least battle, and the Chief is the Storm so you might want to ask her, but from my view, you got a shifty seeming sidhe on mysterious business whose hiding something...you used your best judgement and felt something hinky was up. She didn't ask for Haven, which would be her only card to play to demand any RIGHT to the place... and you weren't hostile about it, just guarded. I would say it's okay you didn't swing open the doors and offer her a coke"

"...Okay. I wasn't sure."

He rises, weapon sharpened, "Most people who are sure all the time are kind of assholes. "

She considers. "Yeah, kinda."

"Hey, you need help for the ne're-do-wells?"

"It's Friday, I don't have school."

"SOunds like Rover biz kid. I mostly will be putting other knights of the way to work."

"...Oh." She does not hide disappointment well.

"Sides, If my hunch is right, there's a reason she didn't give a name and wants us focusing in Oakland rather than the other end of things." A chuckle, "The action won't be in Oakland. SOmeone is just using us to take pressure off..pressure I didn't know was there. Interesting."

Hmphs. "She was shady."

"Relax, lady knight. I'm sure you'll find some trouble this weekend if you keep your ears open. I gotta go make some calls. Thanks for the message" He says

"Okay. But.. I mean, you know if you need help... I mean, I can fight for real, too."

Olgar grunts "I don't doubt it for an instant. You've taken on some nasty things... bug men and worse. You got nothing to prove to me, Dagmar. And don't think I'll coddle you if I think I need you for a fight. "

A pat on her shoulder, and then he moves on reaching for his phone.

Siv sighs "I don't know why Raven likes this book," SHe puts down Jane Eyre and rubs her eyes, "No decent action scenes in it all all"

"Raven's your sluagh friend?"

"yeah." A nod "She'd have this figured out in a heart beat. I mean, it's faster paced that some of the Victorian romances but I just know I"m missing some important message beyond 'Rocherster's a bit of a jerk'. I may put this away for a while. I've got a week to do that report for Vali."

"Is somebody dead?"

"That'd make is a sluagh book, I'd think."

"It has a ghost and Typhus... so maybe" She says "But I really think I prefer the Three Musketeers, sure, its weighty, but 'all for one, one for all!' it's positively Trollish. And there's Athos... oh... now there's a figure..." A bit wistful, and ignoring any hypocrisy for Athos isn't exactly perfect either. Then she puts her hands down "Yup. Taking a break. Heck, I may take a cruise"

"Yeah?" Hopeful grin.

"Yep. I'm heading out" SHe grabs her books "Let me put these up in my room and I'll be off."

"Just you?"

She looks down, "You think someone else needs a break?"

She's on the stairway

"...I guess not.."

She looks at her cousin "Come on. I'd welcome the company."

"Cool!"

"BUt I got to put these up" And off she goes upstairs

And returns, quill in hand "Got Flyswatter?"

"Always. I just finished patrol..."

"Excellent." She leaves a note : GOne off for a brief jaunt... Dagmar with me. Doing WIlder stuff

"Wilder stuff. Heh."

"My ship is in the trunk' " a chuckle, "I love that. To the lake"

"It's pretty awesome, yeah."

And soon they are off the lake, working around the crowds, they find the woodier areas where they can work their wonder.
