After a moment Adam collects himself and taps at the door.

The door opens and Tove opens it. She's beautiful, though older than him by more than a handful of years.

(And blue?)

And yes. It helps when he closes one eye, but after doing that just once, he sees her tall and blue.

"Adam, welcome back."

"Hi." Wonderingly. Maybe a little.... smitten?

"Come in. Sam should be upstairs. Would you like a snack?"

"Th... thanks, yes." Did I eat breakfast? "Upstairs?"

"Sam!" She calls up, "Adam is here to see you"

Then a frown "mm wonder if she went out. Have a seat. We'll wait and see. I'll get you something"

"Uh. Ok." He'd started for the stairs but then stops and sits as bade.

"Are you okay with spicy by the way? Me I hate bland food but I'm told by some I lay the spices on strong"

"Willing to try it!"

"One breakfast burito coming up"

It takes less time than he thought it would. Perhaps she was working on one.

But she comes back with a small tray and offers it up. "See if you like"

"Thank you, Missus King." He takes the plate and with good manners samples the burrito.

Wow. It is spicy, but she's also brought him a glass of milk if needed

He clears his throat, swallows, and takes a good long drink. "Thanks. Uh. It's hot!" A grin.

"I know great right?" A smile

"Mmm...." He nods and takes another (smaller) bite.

He might get a sweat from this, but it IS tasty.

When he finishes.. the world opens and.. he remembers everything.

Dagmar tromps downstairs. "I found the stick!"

"Good, he can handle it now"

He -is- sweating and.... he blinks, a mouthful half-chewed.

"Did he unenchant?" She enters the kitchen - curls grazing the doorframe.

He chokes the mouthful down.

"He did. And I re enchanted" She said "was i not supposed to?"

Then he just chokes.

"I... don't know? Maybe Sally Mae knows how long he should be enchanted for..."

"Ooo, burritos. Hi Adam."

He waves, still coughing.

Tove raises a brow and making sure the boy recovers "yes, more in the kitchen"

She fetches two burritos and returns. "Oh! I got Brekke to sign of on The List, so we don't have to fuss too much with the Rivervale folks."

"Well thank goodness, that was awkward for all"

She nods. "So, this should be just about all of the regular kithain at the Lodge."

She pushes a piece of paper over at Adam.

Red-faced he takes it and reads. "Ok, but how... how do I know who I don't know?"

"Well, everyone should be covered... but if you see a fae and aren't sure... ask me, or Siv, or someone you already know?"

"These ones should be all the changelings at Valley, so you see one of us at school it should be safe. And MR. Vali, the french teacher, he's a troll, too..."

"Mister Gardener there" Tove says

"Mister Gardener. Right."
