He does a double-take at Sally Mae. "Yeah? Well... ok. Why not?" He shrugs and slides out of the chair, heading over to the Fire. "Like a fraternity initiation, kinda." He faces the Balefire. "I, Adam Henry Thomas, swear to believe in fairies, and to consciously reveal nothing about them to those who are not fae or fae touched themselves. I shall speak of changeling matters clearly and overtly only if spoken to openly by one of them first or if the Chieftain of Rivervale gives me leave to do so. I shall not knowingly endanger Rivervale Lodge, its secrets, or those who call it home. Should I fail this, may my fae gifts including my sight be taken from me until the Chieftain or changeling wronged declare me forgiven. By the clay and soil by which the first mortal was crafted, by the wonder placed in the brow of man before the worlds were parted, this I do swear."
