Siv wants to say a dozen things more, to correct her advice, improve it, or give more.. or something...instead she lets the girl mull it over.

then a voice calls out..

"Oh crud. I think that's mom calling for me" Siv says

"I guess....that makes sense..." But the voice interrupts.

"Yeah, you better go. Um...Siv? Thanks. I...can't really talk to Mom or Dad about this, and Dagmar...well, you know...."

"You're welcome though.. I bet your mom would be more understanding than you think" She says "And... sometimes parents surprise you for the better... okay, not your dad" She agreees "SO not your dad." a chuckle "Just remember that everything I said is hardly from an exp.." ANother call

"Oh Odin's teeth. I think I left blue dye in her sink from touching up my hair.. Oh I might be in trouble. Gotta go"

And Siv races down

Sylvi winces. "Go!"

And then she's left to mull over her own thoughts.

and leaving Sylvi to think about what she's heard

And maybe text her boyfriend.

the cleaning was intense, bleach was involved, and for that matter hard work. SIv isn't afraid of hard work, but she does think For a woman who uses no make up ,she's sure touchy about her sink having a little blue dye in it

"Jeeeez it stinks in here..."

"I'm getting it"

Siv comes out of the master bedroom smelling of bleach and rejoins the main area.. "I just made a mistake borrowing mom and dad's bathroom"

"Doing what?"

She gestures to her own head "Hair grow out, had to touch up the blue dye spiky look you had going for me. I was all blonde at the top"

Looks like Siv went with streaks this time

"Well, they look cool. Tove promised to braid my hair before camp!"

"oh the french twist or the nordic double thing twined?"

"Nuh-uh, cornrows. They should stay all week!"

"They're hard to do yourself, you know?"

"I don't know.. I'm like.. VERY white.. for a blue girl" A smile

"But they're gonna look great on you" Siv says, fighting the urge to touch dagmar's hair . You just dont' do that, she's been told. Rude.

"Yeah, we found this tutorial on ghana braids, and they sort of... spiral..."

"Cool" She says surprised, then "On another subject ah.. Could I ask your opinion on another lodge mate?"

"Uh... ok?"

"About Vali... have you.. noticed anything different about him in the last month or so?"

"Vali?"

"Different how?"

"Bit more.. on edge? Touchy when treated like a kid?" Not sure she' wording it right "Ike he's not taking shit from anyone to the point where he's maybe jumping the gun a bit?"

"He's always been touchy about that."

"I guess.. just lately it seems.. more so to me?" She' not sure "I mean. .I get why he would be. Touchy that is but lately..." A bite of her lip "Did you know he's twenty nine years old? Maybe older?"

"Well, I mean, is that years? Frank said you age less in freeholds and the dreaming..."

"So, like, there's changelings who look like kids but they're in their 30s!"

"That's true.." She seems less certain now "I just .. Sylvi and I were talking and..we thought maybe he was heading towards Grumphood faster, you know?"

She shrugs. "I don't know."

"Now neither do I" she says Mmph

"I saw Gerd's togail, but I don't know about grumps. I mean, Vali's a grown up, for sure...."

"So's Tove."

"Yeah, well, Tove hasn't had... " Siv stops whateer she was going to say then shrugs "I think Vali is closer to it than Tove"

"Tove hasn't had what?"

"Years and years of parenting to make her think like a grump" She says "And you have been, weirdly enough, a LOT easier to handle than Gerd lately." A smile "Don't think of it as a challenge now"

"Hey now!"

"Hey, you pressed" Siv reminds "So I had to answer. And I gave up on lying to Gwyds a while back. "
