Then she turns to Siv. "He wants to go, going to check with Lady Sparrow."

"Ah, okay. Truth, we could use more muscle anyway"

"He's good in a fight, that's for sure."

"He's almost as strong as Dagmar, maybe a bit better with a blade though don't tell her I said so"

"Well, she's better with her Flyswatter."

"No kidding.. muscle car, she jousted a sports car.. and won"

"What kind of car was it again?"

"THunderbird.. that's why Vali saw one of us nearly dying by a thunderbird..for him it was symbolic.. a wilder endanger. " Amused a bit "Of course, he IS a wilder so..."

"Right. so...Dagmar, Thunderbird-bane. I like it. Oh, wow...of course it would be a Thunderbird, what with all her Thor stuff and her skycraft!"

"Actually she has taken to Ice magics most.. Sir Vali gives her lessons but I think she gets frustrated she doesn't know it like 'that'' A smile "Though now she's focusing on horses"

"Yeah, after the way she responded to Lanark, I never thought she'd hit it off with a horse like Stormwake, but...wow...."

"I don't know, I mean, Dagmar tries so hard to never make a mistake and so rarely does that it's hard to remember that she's still got her own issues to deal with. Serious ugly stuff"

"Yeah. I mean...if I think back to that first day? It's like she's a completely different person." Then a frown. "Hey...I wonder if she ever called that guy."

"I don't know.. I think she probably ghosted him.. Summer lets you do that"

"Yeah. I can see that. I mean...he seemed nice enough and everything, but...yeah...issues."

"More hers than his, you know? And we can't push it." A smile though "I bet she comes to it a bit later, but she falls hard when she does. HOpe he's nice. He better be... or we'll find a place at the bottom of the sea so deep even the fish won't track him"

"He, or she," Sylvi points out.

"Good point" A nod "I sit corrected. A fine lady might lure her in." amused "Or possibly the first girl who licks her in a fair fight"

"Ha! Could be. Wow...now that you mention it, I can see it. For a while I wondered about her and Gonzalez, but...well...I don't know if things work that way with shifters and fae."

"Well, in her own good time." Siv says Possibly with a little help

"Yeah. Not like she's pining. Okay, look, let me go do some extra chores and stuff to put me in the plus column, and hopefully I'll be able to ask my folks tonight."

"Okay. Tell your mom I intend to look after you- because, it's true." A wink "I will be the captain."

"You know I'm trying to convince her to let me go, right?" Sylvi teases.

"Okay okay... just go easy on your mom" A nudge

"Um...sure? Okay, off to scrub a bathroom floor!"

And Sylvi goes to do battle with grunge.

Siv ponders. She must be more careful. Sylvi won't always buy 'nunya' ... and then there's Dagmar. That will wait. In her own good time. Still... interesting to see what will grow with either or both. She'll help if and when she can.

She rises and leaves to arrange things for the trip.
