"Hail, Rivervale" Bix calls out

The wilder breaks into a grin when she spots the stallion.

"Hail." Brekke puts her own pitchfork aside and goes to meet them. "It seems you broke my horse."

The smile falters, a worried look.

"No ma'am, he's fine..I was going to wash him off here. Just seemed safer" Bix says

The stallion persk to see Brekke and walks forward to greet her. A glance towards Dagmar, and ears give a 'happy to see you' gesture

Brekke takes the stallion's bridle in hand and pats his neck. "Safer?"

She chews on her thumb-knuckle, hanging back and listening.

"Well.. apparently Lanark got a wee bit threatened... and Lanark, we'll, you've seen him, he doesn't back down from challenges. Now they didn't fight... but there was a sort of contest.." he says coughing into his hand.

An eyebrow. "A contest," she repeats as if she knows where this might be going.

Proud head lift from the Stallion. Clearly, Stormwake thinks HE won.

"Yeaaaahh..." Bix says "It gets more complicated."

"Stormwake, what did you do?" An undertone.

"I imagine it does." She nods for Bix to follow as she brings Stormwake back to the paddock by the stable.

Stormwake nicker whiffle sounds at Dagmar's tone. Hard to tell if he's trying to spare her details or what

A glance at Dagmar. "Do you want to hear this?"

Bix says "Well, you know Miss Evergreen has a ..talent, a gift?" He speakss of the Kubera

"Should I go brush him?"

OH, she goes purple. "I'm gonna go brush him..."

"He will need to be hosed down, first."

Then a go-ahead nod.

"Yes'm." She reaches for the bridle.

And then to Bix, "Yes, I am aware. Did she volunteer these talents?"

Stormwake headbumps Dagmar kindly, and goes with her

Bix says "Ah.. she decided to help.. Lanark.. but then decided it wasn't fair, and decided to help.. stormwake."

Dagmar leads the steed around the side, and makes sure to strip off his gear before breaking out the hose. With the oppressive heat, the spray makes rainbows!

"Well...I hope that help was welcomed by the mares."

"Oh... we're not done yet... "Bix says

A blink. "No?"

"Well, there's a satyress chidling on the farm... Ariel? Her brother is Charles, sained as a Fiona Knight..but we let him stay on. Well, Ariel had her harmonica..."

A troll-sized face-palm.

Stormwake enjoys the spray...

and actually, romps a bit.

not with his usual energy, but hey!

A sigh. "I will add some extra oats to his feed tonight."

A bit of a laugh from Dag.

"Let's just say ," Bix says "A whole lot of breeding went on... Even Cinder had a go."

"How many mares in season today, then?"

An interested look there. "Indeed? I know that there was hope of that. She welcomed Stormwake? Or Lanark?"

Then, Stormwake shakes and sends some of the water flying from his mane

"Ah.. YES." Bix says.

"Ah." She shakes her head. "It is good you are not trying to breed for pedigree."

More laughter, and she puts her thumb on the hose to give Stormwake another spray.

"At the time, we didn't have much of a choice... if a Firemare wants, a Firemare gets" Bix says. "When the bull eyed the henhouse, we had to catch that satyr and take her harmonica away. "

"Ha." A brief sound of amusement...but then a sharp look. "Were any of my Lodge up there at the time?"

"We had at least three mares get their interest and..." Bix says "Oh, you mean Siv and Sylvi?"

Stormwake definitely feels more recharged. And yes, when the spray goes down again he lays his head over Dagmar's shoulder

Allowing her access to his neck for petting.

"Yes, I mean Siv and Sylvi." She gives a stern look. "Did anybody have them in sight when the harmonica was conviscated?

"You had a good day, bud?" Pat pat pat.
