Not true, as Dagmar knows thanks to a certain visit to a ranch she and the Chief helped save.

"Oh, no! There's the Dame at Chattanooga, the one that runs the farm there."

"And Siv says Baroness Earth Runes has a horse..."

"Well, that's some small consolation" She says then "Can you give me a few types on riding some time?"

"I don't know. I'm not very good yet. Other-me was. But I'm okay with the tack and stuff... c'mon, I'll show you the right way to get him dressed down and ready for the stable."

"Please do," She says, resigned to learn. And it's better than shoveling shit.

Dagmar is a mixture of patient and excited as she shows Nadeen the ropes - the gruffness falls away, and it's easier, sometimes, when it's just the pair of them to remember they used to be friends.

And maybe they are now, too.

And Nadeen even forgets about her embarrassment earlier as she gets caught up in Dagmar's love of the horse. Just two girls excited about a wonderful horse. And yes, maybe those girls are friends.
