"Okay... if you're trying to creep me out, mission accomplished"

"Whoa...Symon...what is that?"

“It’s short for Imugi. Because apparently mere mortals and fae aren’t noble enough for a dragoon’s name. It’s worse than Lovecraft.” He watches the skin expectantly. “Skin dragon.” He remarks as nonchalantly as he’d said “ghost jar”.

"Dude, SO gross." With admiration.

And suddenly ink pours out but before it hits the ground it turns clearer , more like a rain cloud...and...

rises into the air forming some sort of ..yeah, Dragon.

"You...it..." she blinks "Wow."

Of asian design, naturally.

Sylvi may vaguely remember the tattoo he came back with from their adventure... how did that happen anyways? Oh well... Symon does give a quick bow to the creature in respect, despite his earlier commentary.

"Child of an ignorant world, why have you summoned me forth?" The creature floats about them all in a helix like pattern but it's eyes are on Symon

She remembers the tattoo, but didn't know it could do that.

Gerd's eyes widen, she actually forgets she i s supposed to be jaded now.

Dagmar stares.

“We were trying to think of a good place to hide a thing where it can’t be scryed, but still kept safe.” He explains to the dragon. “So if they come after it we’d know, maybe somewhere a wisp can’t go. Any ideas?”

"Not all eyes see in the darkness, even the most skilled seer can gain little advantage if they are blind without light. But as for a wisp? yes that would be a challenge. ... I do not suggest you trafic with cold iron frail child. Rather, turn the card over to the dream within the dream... the stone knows his den, and is indebted to the thunder child."

Dagmar sucks in her lower lip, frowning. "He was hurt before."

A bit of bristling over being called frail, but he can’t really argue with facts. “We can patrol to make sure no one gets close. And I bet he’d be glad to help if it means being even.” Symon doesn’t seem keen on the idea of owing debts.

Sylvi doesn't catch on quite as quickly as Dagmar does, but then gets it a beat later. "Oh! Huh. Are we sure we want somebody to know that he even is there?"

Now, being OWED is all well and good...

“Can he, like, commune with other stones in the same forest? Or ley lines of rock in the earth? Then he’d know if someone was coming from far off.” Thoughtfully. “That would be COOL.”

"You have asked where best to hide it, and I have answered. All action is risk, but no risk is greater than never moving for fear of the false step so that you are as dead"

"Well. I can go ask him."

"He can decide if he wants to help. The Axe lady hurt him, so he's no friend to her."

He gives another bow to the dragon. “Thy wisdom is second only to thy dignity, O Imugi.” He says, respectfully enough that it’s not clear if he teases or not.

"Yeah, I think you'd better, Dagmar. Maybe you should take the card with you?"

"I can do that, sure."

"I can flicker flash us closer to there if you want?" Gerd offers Dagmar

"You just like flicker-flashing." A smirk.

"Guilty as charged" She admits.

Sylvi snickers at that, but she's watching the dragon again. "Symon...does it hurt when she comes out of your skin like that?"

Imugi notices the 'balanced' manner Symon delivers his thanks, then says "I have answered you then. Be ware young ones... some forget the dangers to themselves when they fear for others."

That comment gets a frown. "We're being careful."

"Totally careful."

"Sylvi, you got the card?"

“Not much.” He says, perhaps in a somewhat boastful manner. It’s not often a sluagh has attention that isn’t completely grossed out.

((I don't remember which of them had it.))

"I think it's kind of badass. Gross, but badass."

The dragon hisses "So blind... so young... speaking to and of and regarding... only the wise know... but when we share do they listen? Such is always my curse..." And turns into rain..and the rain turns into ink and falls onto the sluagh's hand and arm and sinks back into the skin.

"Got it," Gerd says

"Aw hell yeah."

"Symon is TOTALLY the Wizard, guys."

And more rarely are they called badass! His skin flushes a grayish green in appreciation, and he holds still as the dragon drains back into his arm. “See what I mean? As smooth as Lovecraft, but at least useful. And I didn’t even need chicken.” A thought and he quickly adds, “please don’t ever offer ‘moog chicken. My wallet can’t handle it.”

Sylvi just stares at this production. Symon has definitely gotten a new facet of respect.

"Okay officially kind of jealous now" Zane admits, then he glances over at Jimmy. The piskey is eying the arm as if trying to figure out ap uzzle

“If my arm ends up in that bag of yours.... “ he starts to Jimmy.

"I don't get how you get to call her 'Moog' and still live."
