"Ha.. ..my mama still thinks I use face book. Not sense all the old folks in my family got on it. It's just a decoy now," Lupita says 'No you're not a bitch."

"So, you guys gonna make it to the Basketball camp?" May says.

"You kidding? That's six hundred and twenty five bucks" Lupita says with a sighh

"AFTER the scholarship, yeah. I got the form to apply. Coach signed it!"

"Dad says if I make half, I can go."

"Your dad is pretty cool," Gonzalez admits, "How you making the green?"

"I got ten bucks on my right now I'll hand over" May offers. "you don't have to do anything, you're my friend"

"Doing lawns. Sylvi's dad is letting me use their mower."

"Aw, May, that's sweet, but I got it. I need to do maybe twelve more lawns, right?"

"And Tove, she helped me make signs, so I'm gonna put them up around the neighborhood..."

"So you're the one hogging the lawn jobs" Lupita says

"I got ONE done," She says "Went to another, and they said they already had another girl do it...for like five bucks cheaper" Lupita says but she good naturedly gives a light tap to the much taller girl's shoulder, "It's okay, most of the time I offer and they look down like 'no way a little girl like you is handling OUR yard'. It's a height ism. Three? Not bad."

Walking leads them into neighborhoods they normally breeze by, and they see someone has put up a sign... looks like someone is missing their dog.

"Oh..."

"I didn't mean to undercut you. I didn't know you were... hey, maybe we could team up?"

"Well, maybe" She says "But wont' that cut into YOU? I mean, doessn't seem fair to you you know?"

"Oh, shit..."

"Poor guy!"

"Oh that sucks" Lupita says sympathetically. Then she looks at the sign "Five hundred bucks? Whoever it is is loaded"

"Right? But see, if we find the dog..."

"Then we can split the cash three ways..." Lupita says

"Two ways, I don't need it, I'm already in," May reminds.

"Right..."

"Two fifty? With that my folks might be able to swing it" Lupita beams, "Hell, my brothers could loan me a bit each."

"You got the scholarship forms, too?"

"Yeah, I do but.. " She says sheepishly "There's changes, you know? So.."

"What changes?" May is baffled.

"Yeah..."

"Oh, more complicated with siblings. It's just me with Jaymes and Tove, y'know?"

"Your brothers had the changes?" May blinks, still unaware that her friends are a giant and a werewolf respectively

"Yeah, they went from idiots to smug idots" She says with a smile

In truth, it would appear at least a few of Lupita's brothers count as 'kinfolk' and thus are seen as very useful to certain female garou who want to have kids. Sounds like some guy's badly written fan fic.

May looks baffled, but lets it drop as they return to the dog "But how do you think you can find Theo?"

"I dunno.."

"Maybe TwoBit could help?"

"I think you'd need a trained dog with a really good nose to make it work, Two bit doesn't seem that trained. " May says "Trained to track I mean"

Lupita hides a wince at something ,and when May isn't looking makes a thumb motion to herself, then makes sniffing expressions.

Dag nods. "Well, maybe."

"Well I..."

Tove drives by in a car, probably to pick Dagmar up

"OOpps.." Lupita says with a smile

"Oh, she'll figure it out."

"You could CALL your mom, right" May smiles

"Not while she's driving!"

"Fair point" She says
