A surprised look, then a curtsy, "Mother, you are lovely!"

Then, laughter. "Oh, yeah, these are totally wild!" A dancing little trot in place. "Aren't they wonderful? Tove says they only last about a day, but it's been such a GREAT day!"

A fond smile. "Baroness, Dagmar, thank you. And as are you, daughter! And of course, your father...." She gestures to boggan-Frank who is standing by her side.

"Oh, oh, right! Baroness!" She sweeps into a bow, full of dash and swash.

"Father?" She turns "oh dear. " As if worried father might feel discomfort "Father, you.. do you feel..pinched? Instide.. well, of course you don't"

"I fear he may be a tad overwhelmed at the moment," Brekke says of Frank.

"If you please, we are getting ice cream. VERY needful." Clip-clop towards the kitchen, almost dancing.

"Oh mother I... " a warm hug, she is still an expressive girl, being a sidhe takes nothing from that

Brekke holds Siv close, caressing her hair. "Are you having a lovely time like this?"

She sings to herself as she gets dessert in order - the boggan might hear a VERY suspicious thump as the goat hops onto the counter to reach high.

"I. ...." oh yes, mother is still a falcon "With one glaring exception. Yes"

"Oh? Come, darling...sit and tell me." She leads Siv to the chair by the balefire...and at their current size, they can both sit side-by-side. Brekke holds her close, comforting. "Now, what is this glaring exception?"

She sits by her mother, feeling rather like a princess next to a Queen, though such a thought would be far too much to voice ,the "I... Bancroft was not pleased by my change. He claimed it ruined me"

She hops down, more clattering in time with the song. "Walking on sunshine bay-be, and time to feel good!"

"Ruined you? Oh, my....well, that seems like nonsense to me. First...it's a cookie. It will pass. Besides that...you're lovely, Siv. What is that boy thinking?"

"I was not sure it would wear off" She admits "the idea that he would abandon me because I was no longer a troll...it insenced me" She glimmers with the light of a woman scorned. "I have given him the flower of my maidenhood, my heart, and he... he would run like a dog rather than stand by me? I thought him made of sterner stuff. I broke up with him on the spot"

Dagmar bounces out, juggling four bowls of ice cream. With sprinkles! She shimmies, she dances, still humming, and sets them out.

"Hmmm...." Brekke rocks her comfortingly a bit, stroking her hair. "That's quite the decision to make while you're in this state, my darling."

"you..think I am rash? " A sigh "mother, ,what if father told you you had been 'ruined' now?"

A wide-eyed look at the pair, and she tones down the humming juussssst a bit - minimal disturbance. (And ice cream!)

"oh, thank you, Dagmar, you're very sweet" She takes up a bowl

"Oh, Dame Dagmar, that is very sweet of you, thank you." ((I'm sure Frank the Boggan would protest that he could have done it, but we seem to have lost Shady...so....)) "My Heart, would you mind putting your travel gear away while Siv and I talk? Dame Dagmar, you may stay if you wish. Girl talk...and perhaps a satyr might help."

Normally Siv just digs in, but in this case she seems to be wanting to use the right spoon (Checks out) and at the right time. Ettiquette, propriety, it's not just for sluagh.

((and presumably)) After Frank makes his fond farewells for the moment and goes upstairs, Brekke takes a nibble of ice cream before setting aside the bowl and returning her attention to Siv. "Dear one, your Father would never in a million years say such a thing. But...he and I have certainly hurt each other without meaning to, especially in the early days of our relationship. And if we hadn't talked it out and learned to forgive each other...well, where would you be?"

Dagmar settles into a chair, listening and digging in.

"Can I make him walk on hot coals and beg me to take him back at least? "A pettinesss that.. oh yes. She feels scorned. Noble wrath sparkles in her eyes

"Hmmm...would that satisfy? Truly?"

"I would like to test the theory and find out. He hurt me, mother. A lady often wishes for redress"

Still dramatic, her Siv, being a sidhe does not change that

"Well, if he'struly sorry and apologizes.."

"A lady does, it is true."

The baroness nods agreement with the satyr. "Now, how might you determine if he's truly sorry, hm?"

"Alas, I have no Gwydion boon of my own" she sighs

"Ooo, oo, a quest!"

"And you don't happen to know any Gwydions who might be willing to help you in the matter?"

A smile. "Dame Dagmar, you seem eager to serve."

"Oh, you know it, your Excellency!"

"I... " Normally she'd be a bit more reluctant to rely on others, but delegating does not seem shameful, if the aid be true. "I would welcome that, Dame Dagmar. Thank you. You are a goodly knight, a matter I may not have said enough times before this."

A blush and a smile. "Well, thanks."

"I agree. Now, Siv, do seek out Bancroft on the morrow, with the Dame's help, and ascertain his meaning and, if he apologizes, his sincerity. But do give the poor boy a chance to explain. He's not a bad sort, for all that he works below his station. Now...Dame Dagmar, what do you think of your current state? Enjoying yourself?"

"Mother, may I have my ice cream without being rude? "

She seems to see the matter as ssettled, her mother, the baroness, has advised. and one does not dismiss their mother orliege too lightly

"Yes, dear, of course. No sense in letting it melt."

"Oh, yes. I have been having a grand time."

In fact, she takes up her own again and has another delicate bite or two.

"Dad wouldn't try a cookie, but Mom did. And a few of the other wilders, too... Nadeen..." A sigh.

"Oh? And what were the results?" A curious look, especially at that sigh.

"oh it's most amusing" Siv dines

"Nadeen's a satyr too! Her fleece is silver-blonde, and her horns are ivory, but her eyes are just the same.." Closes her eyes, revelling in the memory.

"Interesting. From sidhe to satyr, and matched with your momentary kith as well." She watches the girl's expression. "That seems a...happy coincidence?"
