Beltaine is still kind of a blur, nto because of the booze, she only had one ale, but so many people and events and Dagmar felt almost an overload .. AFTER the wedding. During it, she had been a rock to both Jaymes and Tove. Now, her parents..wow, plural, is that right? Are off on a very brief honeymoon.

Her own house easy walking, but here she is in the lodge. Camped out with Siv who to her credit cleaned her room up.

Breakfast is done, and she has free time... what to do, what to do?

Well, there's always feeding the dogs. Chowhounds the lot of them.

Important! Two-bit and Odin have also made the short trip....

Gerd is stomping around

Which means, ultimately, a lot of bowls... two cats, four dogs...

"Hey Gerd. Are the dogs out?" The clatter of kibble on metal as she fills the row.

"I don't know..." She shrugs

"You wanna yell for them out the door?"

"Ihafta to everything" she stomps and yells "Edie, Brown, Oak..Two bit.."

"I.. asked if you wanted to? You like yelling."

"everyone thinks they know what I like.." grumble mutter but when the dogs come she gives them big hugs

Edelweiss, who ahs always been more of 'Gerd's dog' (Relatively speaking) actually ignores the food to like the girl

"Well, if you don't, then don't. Jeez."

Browndog gets an ear rumple... but is that bacon snuck in for TwoBit?

Twobit bounces victoriously

she had been feeling down with Jaymes gone

"whatever" Gerd says and grabs a broom "Same old chores every day no matter who is here"

"Yeah, chopped liver here, dog." Pets for TwoBit, too.

"Yeah? Chores can suck, but you don't have bad ones."

"And everybody does chores, not just you."

"yeah I'm really lucky and should never open my mouth fine" sweep sweep

Siv comes in "Hey ,good morning"

"If you say so, it must be" Gerd says sarcastically

Siv blinks, "Ah, well.. tis but an expression"

"Gerd is being extra-bitchy this morning."

"AND dramatic! Woe, behold, the put-upon Gerd!"

Dag goes to the fridge, pokes around, and retrieves a pitcher of tea.

Gerd glares and throws the broom down "Do it yourself then!" And storms off

Siv's mouth opens "Gerd, young lady don't talk to..." but the little one is gone

Siv looks at Dagmar "What got into her?"

"Told you, mood." She picks up the broom.

Brekke is coming in from outdoors as Gerd storms out of the kitchen. "Gerd? Why are you yelling?"

"I'm not y... can I go? " Gerd says getting caught "No one wants me in the kitchen"

"That's not true!"

Brekke looks seriously at Gerd, then at the wilders. "Was there an argument?"

"I came in on the tail end of it, but seemed like gerd was the one who couldn't be pleased" Siv observes

"She was being bitchy about just normal stuff. I don't know what her problem is today."

"Language, Dagmar. Gerd...did something happen during Beltaine?" A close look.

Gerd crosses her arms "Fine.. I just complained and Dagmar didn't like me complaining and was all why I should be happy to be doing the same dchores over and over... and Siv piled on..."

"Piled on?" Siv 's mouth falls open

"I didn't tell you to do nothing, I asked if you wanted to call the dogs."

"Then YOU bit my head off!"

Brekke makes a gesture for calm and quiet, but merely listens.

Gerd mumble "how can I bite anyone's head off, I'm sweetness and light. I wear fricking flowers" then "No, Beltaine w as great. I sat at the kid's table and made sure the younger childlings had fun. "

"Mm." Brekke nods at that. "I believe I understand. Fine. Gerd, you may go, if you wish."

"Good. I.." A deep breath, "Thank you" And off she goes. Without so much as an apology to Dagmar or Siv

And Siv looks at her mom "Mom, she was horrible to Dagmar. I came in on the butt of it and even I could tell."

"Hmph." Stubborn jaw-jut.
