He glances around, slightly intimidated by the group, but breaks into a gummy grin at Sylvi’s words and steps forward. “We’re her motley, aren’t we? Close enough anyways. We should all be a part.”

A nervous/grateful smile at Sylvi, and another one for Symon.

"Well, yeah. The Squad."

"Well, if everybody who's in Dagmar's Squad would step up, it'd be kind of a crowd."

"Well, then, young slaugh, you will stand for not just yourself but the others." The wizardress nods approvingly as he steps forward

He moves into the designated space. Whispering to Dagmar as he passes her “You’ve got this.”

Sylvi moves back next to Colton and slips her hand into his briefly, giving a squeeze before releasing again.

Colton nods to his girlfriend with a smile

"Now, you over here... on this side, the Baroness there... excellent" the Namer nods.

A flash of wolf-teeth in a grin, shooting a thumbs-up at Symon.

"And now," the Namer says "We begin." A nod of respect to Frank, for his authority as resident shaman is recognized. Then she raises her staff and brings it down with an audible knock on tiles, not so loud , as she knows a sluagh is among them.

And glamour flows...a protocal.

Brekke nods encouragement to Symon as he takes his place.

She also looks quickly to Frank, but then the protocol takes hold, and her attention is entirely on the Namer.

His gaze also on the Namer, intent and focused on the ritual. His hands clutched behind his back as he stands up straight, paying attention.

Dagmar stands up straighter - several feet taller in her mein than mortally, though still shy of the grumps.

"True Winter is not the end, it is but one quarter of the great wheel of Da'an. But we are here to speak of Spring's gift to us, this Samantha, this Dagmar... she was as a seed, but with time and guidance, she has grown... and she is ready to find herself. She is strong enough. She is tested. " A look to the Chieftain, "Baroness, Liege of this Hold- Do you feel this one is ready? Has she served her year and day to your satisfaction? Is she prepared?"

Brekke says, "I have watched Dagmar for this time. I have watched her learn how to trust and how to serve with joy. I have seen her struggle and fail and refuse to surrender, then struggle again and succeed. I have seen her face her fears, and I have seen her defend those in need. She has worked hard to be ready for this day, and ready she is in truth. I am satisfied. She is prepared."

The fire rises, as if supporting its holder's every word with controlled but deep passion.

Her cheeks shade purple.

Frank stands with Kerri. Brekke's standing where the Namer located her, near the Balefire.
