Gosh he's affectionate at the worst time

Cats.

And so, Dagmar starts rooting through her drawers and closet, looking for a new outfit.

nothing seems right... too wintery, too springy, too casual, too stuffy...too green!

"Argh!" She slams a drawer, frustrated - and breaks it.

"Everything okay?" Tove says from the door way

She stares at the broken wood, panic threatening. "Uh... Fine...'

"Okay, are 'you' okay?"

"I'm fine!" She lies!

A nod "Ok. I found a blouse if you need one, just out of the laundry"

"One sec... I'll be down... gimmie a minute..."

Carefully, carefully, she pushes the drawer closed. Opening it again might be a problem... but it doesn't look so bad right now...

She heads downstairs, looking a bit flushed. "Hey."

"Hey, looks like you don't need the blouse and slacks" she says looking at her outfit

"You sure?" She tugs at her shirt.

"I'm sure, you look lovely. " She says and she , unlike Jaymes, looks.

"Okay..." She can't stand still.

"I could use a little help with..." Jaymes comes down in a nice if modestly priced suit... "darn tie"

Tove, rather than seeming offended, beams a bit and handles his tie "Sure. Doesn't Dagmar look nice?"

"Oh, wow..." Stares.

"I know, I feel silly in this" He grumbles

"You look great" Tove insists "And so does Dagmar"

"What? You look all... rich."

"mmph" He says, then adds "And you look nice. "

"You do! Like a big wig type guy."

"Well, thank you" He says "Still have 30 minutes before we have to leave" He notes

"HAVE to leave, we could go early and be there just in case..."

"Okay, we'll go in 15 instead of 30" he nods

"Okay. Do we have everything? Paperwork?"

"In the brief case" he says

"Gas for the vehicle?" Tove asks

"Filled it on the way home" He responds

Tick tock... oh good lord, it is still 15 minutes ?

Dagmar is back to pacing allll around the house

Twobit charges forward to get petted

She crouches. "No jumping."

And pets.

And the dog loves it. And behaves? Jaymes has taught her better, or someone has.

And then..."Hey, it's time"

She springs up, looking pale-ish. "Kay"

"It'll be okay" he says and heads out with her opening the vehicle door for her.

Tove is coming along too. "Wouldn't miss this for the world"

"Better not. Should be the family, right?"

"Tove's family" Jaymes says "And my fiancé"

"Would you feel better if it was just you and Jaymes for now?" Tove asks

"No. You should come."

"Thank you" Tove gets in. The three make their way. NEver before in the history of the world has anyone ever driven so SLOOOOWW. Okay, not really but boy it feels like it

Sam rides the whole way with her forehead on the glass, watching.

Jaymes is stoic, but inwardly more nervous than he lets on . Tove shows energy, not necessarily bad energy but she too is excited
