Zane hurumphs "Guys, before we try to envenom Nadeen, let's recongize she's a lot better"

Sylvi rolls her eyes. "That's more tempting."

Harrumph. "Got that promise thing, too."

He eyes Zane, but gums back a remark tactfully. Instead, he turns to Dirk, "You should be careful, though. I saw an episode of Monsters Inside Me where a small snake crawled into someone's nose when they were sleeping and got into their BRAINS. I mean, she'd have to look for a while, but..."

A blink at Dagmar. "What promise?" Trying to remember if he knows that... or if the player should.

Ah - the Oath. Not one from this life, but one Dagmar found herself bound to nonetheless.

Sylvi takes a few moments to adjust her makeup in her locker mirror.

He frowns at that, an grumbles under his breath.

"Ink?" Zane is out of the loop

He pulls up a sleeve to show Zane, and turns his hand over, looking for the tattoo. A smirk, and he checks the other hand... "It might be on my back now. It looks wicked cool, but not enough to get me to take my shirt off."

"Not at school anyway... you have a MOVING Tatt? Dude, you guys should have invited me. Mohawks, Tatts... it's like a fashion quest" Zane says

"And bacon."

"Yup," Dirk does not take offense

"Dude..."

"Dude, this sucks."

"Why can't it be friday?"

He frowns a bit, and gives her a companionable pat on the arm. "Almost there. Just be careful what you say, don't want to tempt da'an to timeslip you back another year or something. Like, that cop that was just 1 day from retirement..."

"Oh yeah" Dirk says "Those are the guys that die"

A moments thought, and he offers, "And Endgame is in just a few weeks. Gotta see how they're gonna time-loop bullshit themselves out of the fu-" He catches the stern glance of a teacher bustling down the hallway. "eff-up they got into."

"We're gonna go together, right?"

Zane tries to reassure Dagmar as well, "Just keep busy, it's the only way to make time go faster"

"Definitely. I got my earplugs ready. Not because of the THX surround sound, but because of the way Sylvi always squeals when she sees Thor. I mean, there are notes man was not meant to make..."

Sylvi emerges from her reflection-gazing and looks at Symon's tattoo. "I swear I thought you had that thing when we went in."

"He did" Dirk says

"No he didn't" Zane says

A confused look at Zane, and a shrug. "It hides a lot. Maybe you just don't pay attention."

"Yeah, see? They don't remember it," she indicates Zane and Dagmar. "And they weren't with us."

"It's new, like... fro, the trip, right? "

He looks a little unsure at Dagmar. "No, it's... always been there." A quick glance at the front of his phone. "See, April 2nd. No need to keep joking."

"Ah dude, I think if you had a tatt, Dagmar would know it, she's like your best friend" Zane says

"Before the quest i mean.." He adds

"You never had a tatt before, man. It's awesome though..."

Sylvi shakes her head. "Weird. Anyway... hey, we better find Nadeen before she finds Eden, right?"

"You guys are bonkers" Dirk looks at Dagmar and Zane

"Of course she is. You've seen it, right?" Another one of those ill-at-ease looks, which he quickly covers up to agree with Dagmar. "Yeah, it really is."

"Yeah, or even just on time... don't want to miss the blood" Dirk looks around

"We should find them, yeah."

A nod, and he trails after as they go in search of the others, rubbing at his arm thoughtfully.

And that's when Sylvi gets a text from her dad.

She takes a look at her screen.

TXT: Coming to pick you up Early. Will explain later.

A frown. "Huh. Guys, I gotta go, Dad needs me for something. Look, just keep Nadeen and Eden from killing each other. They don't have to be best friends, though." She waves and heads for the exit at the end of the hallway.

He eyes Sylvi's screen, surrepticiously trying to peek at her message when she looks at it. "Is it something..." And shrugs as she hurries off. "Huh."

"Folks know I'm a redcap right?" Dirk says to himself as folks ask him to STOP fights
