Nadeen storms in, "i'm going to murder Eden"

At school, every calender seems a challenge to Dagmar. How are the days moving so slow? How is it just now past April 1st? NARGH..even the clocks are moving slow.

For Sylvi, well, she and Colton know something...big happened in the Dreaming, and not just the mace retrieval. Between them maybe? was it good, bad?

For Symon? There has been.... super secret sluagh stuff, experimentation with Tatoo and mask... that is when he could get Dirk to stop pounding on the door.

School is actually quieter

And yes, Dagmar's class is taking forever.

The teacher goes on "blah blah blah... reading material... blah blah some test next week"

Who caaarrressss? Not Sam.

She looks at the clock... a minute? All that, one minute?

Yup. Just sixty tick tocks

UHG. Click.

"Stop it or I'll eat it" Dirk mutters at the clicks.

"Try me."

Sylvi's trying to listen, trying to pay attention, but her mind does keep wandering...to whatever the heck happened...if only she could remember....

"Not kidding..." Dirk says

She grunts.

The tense tones of her friends get her attention. "Guys..." she whispers. "Cut it out."

"Yeah yeah."

"Fine"

"Is everything okay?" The Teacher asks

Bright cheerleader smile. "Mm-hm! But...I'm confused...are we doing the even numbered questions after the reading, or the odd ones, or both?

A sulk, but grateful, simultaneously.

A sigh, as the teacher wonders for a moment why seeds must be cast on hard ground.

then "Even numbered." The teacher does not add 'As I said 5 minutes ago'

And the bell rings!

"Even-numbered. Thanks! Have a good afternoon!" Sylvi says brightly to the teacher, covering Dagmar's sulky and abrupt exit.

Dirk grabs for the pen after they get out in the hallway.. you know, just once.

Dagmar holds it high!

Well, Dirk could try to hop for it...

"Oh funny..." He says "Great way to treat a hero"

At least in the hallway, they're less likely to get in trouble for goofing around. Sylvi heads to her locker.

Zane trots up "Hey guys... Nadeen is looking for Eden, she did not think the joke the other day was funny. Turns out there is no Cheerleader swim suit day calender shoot..." //Sylvi recalls Nadeen's surprised look when she was the only one to show in the two piece. And her other clothes went missing.

Sylvi presses her lips together to avoid laughing. "But why is she blaming Eden?" Sylvi doesn't really need to ask...of course it was Eden...but still, better to ask for evidence.

"Ohhh... well, I mean, she's the one who believed Eden.."

"Because Eden was the one who gave her the manufactured notice" Zane says

"But again, she believed Eden."

"Yeah, but Eden didn't SAY it, it was on a form.. so Nadeen thought she was trying to bypass it."

"The lying that is"

"Oh, smart Eden!"

"Oh, boy. Yeah, Eden's smart, but she's going after a dangerous target. Nadeen doesn't have much in the way of a sense of humor."

"No, she doesn't..." A sigh. "I'm gonna have to get between them aren't I?"

"Probably, yeah. Want help?"

Symon whispers (was he there the whole time? Maybe in the shadow of a locker). "Maybe let her try. I was wondering if Eden was venomous, after all."

Siiigh. "I can't let Eden bite her."

"Well, we also can't let her abuse Eden. So yeah, get between them."

"Who says it's your job to police them? Just because you're blue, doesn't mean you have to. I'd like to see that fight." A little disappointed.

"That's pretty much exactly what it means, Symon."
