Dagmar sleeps fitfully at hte Lodge. She'd rather be at home, but Her Dad and Tove are out at the funeral and it's an all nighter, which is weird.

Of course, when the door opens, her eyes wake up.

She watches... verrrry still, but tense.

The door opens, and she hears soft sounds, is everyone back? There's a scampering... something near her door sniffing

Twobit! She went with dad because he thought she might like the farm

If she's back... that means...

Dagmar sits up. "Dad?"

a soft yip! And...

"Twobit, shhh" Jaymes says, then a soft knock on the door to the room she's using

She swings her bare feet to the floor and is up to meet him. "Hey! hi! I'm awake!"

"You shouldn't be, it's like five in the morning" But he hugs her, he looks freshly showered, "Tove is already asleep at our home. I dropped her off first. Hope you don't mnd but I figured you'd still be asleep"

"I heard movement. I was asleep." A hug and a sniff. "Went okay?"

"Yeah..it turned into a kind of wake... but the big news is.. and I know you'd want to hear this as soon as you could, your friend Symon is back. Sylvi and her boyfriend too..oh and Dirk"

"Oh, good! Everybody is back safe?"

"Some were hurt, but we had Kerri , Chief Clem and a couple of healers. So they're good now. They don't remember much but they brought back the mace"

"Also good, then."

"Look, you go on back to bed if you want. Just when you get up you know we're at home. "

She nods. "Okay."

"Can go home now, I got shoes..."

"If you want too, but you'll probably just go to bed again..." He ponders "Though I guess you might prefer your own room. Up to you. I can wait in the main area awhile you get dressed"

"Mmmph. Dressed. Nah. Home in PJs."

"Okay okay... but you might get cold on the trip.. so don't blame me. This is still new jersey and early march isn't spring"

"Is so spring. There was an equinox." She shoves on her sneakers, without socks, and grabs up her clothing in a bundle.

"Hmmph" he says. "Got you something, DeBukes gave it to me." he says "It's at the house though"

"Cool." She shuffles along beside him - still bleary eyed, but happy.

He does drap a jacket around her shoulders as they go a quatermile and when the wind tries to pick up, but they make it to the house, and she is shown.. a rainstick

"It's... oh, it makes noise..." She turns the stick in her hands.

"Sounds a ibt like rain, some say it can be used to summon rain, but I think they were pulling my leg. Tove says if you want she can carve lightning bolts or something" It's good to be back to her home, no balefire, but the room upstairs is hers

"rrroowWW!" from upstairs

"Summoning rain would be cool." She turns it again. Hssshhhhh.

"Odin's awake."

"Yup..and complaining about life" Jaymes notes "if he makes too much noise for you to sleep, just put him out your door"

"Never. He'll settle."

"Patience is a virtue, but don't let that fuzzball bully you" He says, even as he picks up Twobit because she wants him too.

"He's okay. He just thinks he's important. Imma get more sleep, cool?"

"me too" He nods "night"

A quick hug and she trudges off to bed.

Soft squeeze back. they part, and she discovers odin WILL Pipe down once she lays down, pets him for a few, and lets her use her as a pillow

March 31st finds Dagmar bouncing restlessly off the walls at the Lodge.

"She's going to explode" Gerd observes whispering to the dogs

She goes into the kitchen, opening cupboards, then the fridge, then back to the cupboards. Whatever she is looking for, she doesn't find.

"Whatcha looking for" Gerd asks

"I dunno. I'm hungry. You hungry?"

"Nothing seems right." Huff.

"Mmn no, not hungry, thanks"

Kerri comes into the kitchen. "Who's banging around in here?"

"It's not banging. It's regular closing." BANG.

"She's acting like she's got ants in her pants" Gerd tells Kerri
