"Well, it does matter that you're safe..." She frowns.

"That's... isn't that my oath?"

"No...I got it..." Sylvi goes to the door, giving Nadeen an odd look.

"I..." A sigh "It's not about your oath, Dagmar. Nevermind. It's..let's not dwell"

She opens the door, expecting Bancroft, but distracted by Nadeen. "Hi...."

When the door is opened, Bancroft in a thick jacket and hopeful eyes that somehow slip free from his otherwise calm expression, "Oh, Hello, Sylvi. Congratulations on the Firebrand job. Is...Siv ready?"

A flicker of distress and confusion, before it turns into her usual scowl.

"I...uh... SIV!" Sylvi calls, uncharacteristically bad mannered.

Nadeen sighs "I would think you'd understand I..." then at the news "Congratulations, Sylvi. It's well earned." Text book at hand "Hello, Thane. I'm sure she'll be down shortly."

Her gaze stays on the other two.

Her chin juts out.

"Well... BE mad. Whatever." She turns the page with unnecessary force, and THUMPS her notebook on the table as she flips it over to do the next set of questions.

"Uh...SIV?!" Sylvi wants to keep Bancroft from getting in the middle of this, because it doesn't really make the Lodge look good...but Siv is taking her own sweet time.

Siv slides down the railing, wearing a rather nice outfit and an open coat.. that top, and a skirt, skin tight leggings and... she lands at the bottom "Hey" She flashes a smile

Sylvi waves her to get to the door quickly. "He's here, time to go, have fun, bye!"

"You think everything's about you, well I guess it is, at least your judgement is trusted and.." Nadeen flashes teeth at Dagmar then Siv comes down "Siv, your paramour is here"

"BE mad! Whatever, I don't care!"

"I..see that" Siv says, a curiousl ook at the tension, then she moves to Bancroft "Hey."

Bancroft blushes lightly at Paramour

Scowl. Math. She maths so hard the tip of her pencil breaks. "Fuck."

Then the Scathatch says "you.. look lovely. Is this a bad time?"

"It's a great time, go go go." Sylvi urges them out the door.

Siv winces as HE acts like the responsible friend. A look at Sylvi, full of gratitude as they're pushed out

"I just wanted my textbook. I didn't even want to talk to you. I wasn't botherinng you" Nadeen says

As soon as Siv and Bancroft are underway, Sylvi closes the door and stands in front of it. "What in the Dreaming is going on with you, Nadeen?"

"I'm not talking to you." Too loud. Angry? Hurt? They sound about the same.

A look past her to Dagmar, "If she turns into a werewolf, too...."

"Me?" Nadeen looks shocked, affronted, how could someone think SHe has donee anything? Her sidhe nature makes her seem like the pious victim in a cruel trial unjustly accused. Of course, Sylvi has pulled similar things herself so sees through some of it

"You." Sylvi nods. "You haven't been around for days, and then you come in with a boatload of attitude. Sorry, Nadeen, but you've acted nicer. What's going on?"

"I..." She looks at Dagmar then Sylvi "You both really don't know why I'm upset?"

"Well, I don't. Dagmar?"

"No?"

"I..." Nadeen takes a slow breath "I ...thought it would be obvious. During the shifter situation, you ordered me away. Do you recall that, Dagmar?"

"I... I told you to stay back, yeah. I wasn't sure if I could keep hold..." A frown. "She was stronger than me. But you did, I'm glad. I dunno if I could have stopped her if she'd broke loose."

"That's...her job, Nadeen. That's our job, kind of. We take on the big problems. It's a troll thing."

"I didn't do it because I wanted to. I did it because as soon as you ..as soon as you said it, I didn't have a choice. I was ..compelled. Don't you see what that means? Either of you?"

"....you didn't? I thought you just... listened..."

"I mean, my hands were sort of full."

Sylvi's eyes go wide.

And then she stares at Dagmar.

"What?"

"No.. I wanted to help, to maybe see if I could dictum her or something and...instead I was..." hurt, embarrassment "Instead I was made to go. Either I'm geased , or oathed or something... to obey you when I'm in danger. my Father didn't... DOES'NT... trust me!"

And for a moment she flares with hurt and betrayal as only a sidhe can. her cold varich heart flaring for a moment

"That's....you think that's what that was?" Sylvi asks Nadeen. "Something your father set up?"

A slow frown.

"Who else? Who else would have the right, who else could make me take an oath or would presume? My own... all I want is to do right by his wishes and... he doesn't... he he chained me"

"Yeah, it really sucks to be surprised with an oath."

"It's different for you, Dagmar"

"It's not. Not really. Nadeen...maybe it's only until you're Sained?"

"Sort of a...an extra safety precaution."
