"You can hang out with us, Eden." She goes to the dryer, turning the vent towards the ceiling.

Eden smiles a bit at both "Oh yes. I feel positively diabolical around you guys. I...uhm.. sure?" Then a look to May "But we go by height" pointing the girl stil lwaiting

Sylvi starts working on May....

This is not high-fashion makeup, not at all. It's just enough to look...a little wow. Accentuating, not painting.

"I can go heavier with the eyeliner, if anybody wants to be a little more daring."

"I'm good..." Oh, she's already smudged it...

Eden says 'Dare Dare"

"Hang on, Sam. Look in the mirror. Okay, see that? Here's how you fix that...." She shows her how to rearrange a slight smudge. "It's a good idea to stroke a fingertip just under your eye now and then, to straighten out the line, so it doesn't get too out of control." She demonstrates.

A smile to Eden. "That sounds like a 'eyeliner, please' from you. Am I right?" She's finishing up with May.

She caaarreeefullyyyy follows directions. "...okay.."

It works. Sam's eyes look...well...actually kinda wow.

May glances over "Okay, this looks.. nice"

Sylvi beams. "See?" The smile of somebody who is winning converts. She starts on Eden next...with a rather heavier hand with the eyeliner, to make a dramatic line that accentuates her eye shape.

The Korean American girl has a different face to work with, but that might add tothe fun.

"Oh, May - you look great! Told you, Sylvi's practically a pro."

As Dagmar/Sam pointed out earlier, Sylvi has watched videos. She has a clue...

Gonzalez says "Uhm.. thanks. I should get to class"

"Gonzales?"

Sylvi surveys her handiwork with a look of satisfaction. "Okay, quick...somebody will say something mean. They always do, the first time you try something new. They're jealous, because you all look HAWT." A smile.

She huffs, and blurts - "What's WRONG with you? You've been weird all WEEK!"

A startled look at Sam, then at Gonzalez...and then a little frown of concentration.

Eden checks herself out "oh wow, I am the yellow Peril" Pleased

Gonzalez whirls and glares at Dagmar "WRong with me? Fuck you... you were a basketcase when you came to this school and I stood by you, and I'm suddenly not allowed a week of confusion? Screw you you inc..."//May calls out "Gonzalez!"//"I.." The latina girl says "i'm just.. really angry lately and I don't need.." SHe leaves the bathroom

A stunned silence, then... "What the heck?"

Dagmar's face clouds, hands curling into fists.

Eden says "Okay... I realize now that yellow peril is a racist term and trying to reclaim it was a mistake. Should I apologize to her?"

Sylvi says, "It's not about you, Sam. Something's wrong. For real." She gathers up her makeup.

"Come on...we should try to help..."

May moves to Sam, puts a hand on her shoulder "Sylvi is right. This isn't about either of us, and you wer right, I noticed it too."

A frustrated noise.

Eden says "You want me to talk to her? I .. have a gift with torture?"

"I don't..." Then a pause. "Maybe. Yeah, actually...you're really the perfect one to do it, aren't you?"

Sam is silent, scowling.

"Why would Eve be the one to..." May, unenchanted, is confused "She barely knows her."//Eden says "That's why I can do it. Because knowing is half the battle and I go whole hog" And she moves off

"Eve's got a way about her, you'll see."

"Gonzalez is right, though...we've got to get to class." They certainly used the last fifteen minutes of lunch worthwhile.

"She's been weird all week." Sam repeats.

"Yeah," May says "She has. THanks for the help, Sylvi"

"I noticed, but I didn't realized I noticed until you pointed it out, Sam."

She taps her foot, arms folded - out of sorts and fidgety right now.

"Sam, you're right, it's just...let's let Eve see if she can get Gonzalez to talk."

May looks at Sam "It'll be okay. Whatever it is, we'll help her and she'll be fine"

A grunt.

"Come on." Sylvi heads out of the bathroom and into the hallway.

May tries to coax Sam out
