"I guess, but she's a pooka, this is going to be a bitch to learn. If you guys see her before I do, let me know?"

"Certainly" Nadeen inclines her head.

"Thanks" He mutters "Man, I hate to see girls cry." and he walks off, presumably looking for a snake

Nadeen shakes her head once he's gone "He really is upset. He didn't check my ass out once."

She rolls her eyes.

"You know what I mean, he's a satyr, they tend to be earthy"

"Zane... we;;, his family is kind of weird. His dad is a professor."

"Oh, now that's interesting. Maybe if we go to college we'll take a class"

"I'm not going to college, I don't think. I be the Browns'll send you, though."

"Do you not want to go to college?"

"I dunno. I don't really like school that much."

"MMm" She isn't sure what to say about that

"I never put much thought into it. I'd rather just do... you know... all this, full time."

"The autumn world means you'll need a job"

Before that can be discussed , An absolutely freezing snake nearly falls out of a nearby branch

"Dagmar, catch her if you can!" The Varich is further away

"Jeez!"

And yes, there she goes, hands outstretched...

And she catches the shivering snake

"...Eden?"

The snake bobs it's head ,and shivers again

"Sweetie, you can't be a snake right now, it's too cold..."

"Oh this just..." The varich shakes her head "SIlly. Dagmar's right, Eden. It's not even winter yet and already you could freeze yourself into a sleep"

"We can look away."

The varich does so

Dagmar carefully sets the snake down.

When she looks away, there's a 'whomph' sound and "Don't let Zane see me. Okay? He doesn't even remember taking my rose..oh who am I kidding, it's a daisy at best"

"Taking... when? You were on the boat with us.... and then... was it at the party? I thought there was a trod... thing..."

"Zane seems to think he still has his v-card..."

The varich laughs at that, "Sorry ,sorry. It's just... he did pretty much admit to it didn't he?"

"But Dirk said he was missing his cufflinks?" Eden says

"Dirk also likes stirring up trouble." She takes off her jacket, sticking it over Eden's shoulders.

"Wait, are yoiu telling me that OTHER KITH CAN LIE?" The shivering girl cluctches the jacket

"All save the sidhe" Nadeen says looking heaven ward

A snort. "Well, Dirk does."

"I'm gonna break SO Many commandments over his head" Eden says still shaking "Oh geez. THe boy I like hates me. THe boy I didn't like but thought I did the Gomorrah mambo with is fleeing paternal custody suits, and some redcap is snickering because I threw away my unicorn riding season pass and it hadn't expired yet!"

"Eden.... are you sure something happened?"

"Nobody I know hates you."

"I think she means she realizes NOTHING did happen" THe varich says "There's a rhythm to pooka lies"

"Dirk pranked me so I'm going to bite and eat him, it's fair" The pooka explains

"That sounds fair, yes."

"That's a hell of a jaw unhinging" Nadeen says impressed

"DIgesting him is going to ruin my figure, but so worth it" Eden says as she plots revenge

"But... you're okay?"

A sniff, "Just turning blue with blushing."

"Let's get her inside" Nadeen suggests

"I bet there's cocoa, c'mon..."

And in they go for coco
