Nadeen helps keep Conner from making too big a mess. Oddly, she doesn't seem to see this as a chore, not conner wrangling

A brief nod to Nadeen, acknowledging the kid-wrangling, then Kerri sighs. "You're not in trouble, Dagmar...but you know the Kestrel was damaged on Samhain. Siv was working on it, I think she fixed it well. So...you think you went somewhere? And maybe that's how it got damaged?"

"Maybe?"

"Stuff got... it's fuzzy. But parts are kind of... not great... but I don't know if they really happened?"

Kerri nods. "I understand...don't assume that what you remember actually happened. But what do you remember?"

"Um..." A nervous look. "Please don't tell Jaymes?"

"You think you'd be in trouble with him?"

"I think he'd get mad. Maybe not at me, but mad?"

A sigh. "Dagmar, he's your father. If there's something I think he should know for your well-being, I need to tell him...but I can promise you I won't tell him anything except under that condition. Okay?"

She nods, thumbs at her mouth as she chews at her poor ragged cuticles. "There was I fight. I got hurt."

"I thought...you came off a trod hurt, not off the ship...." Frowning with her own attempt to retrieve memory.

A helpless shrug. "It gets really messy after that. There was a scary woman, and she did something bad, after we helped her..."

Kerri nods slowly, thinking. "Anything else?"

"I think.. it.. the woman..." She frowns, and hides her hands. "I don't know. I was real mad, but couldn't.. I couldn't do anything? She took something that wasn't hers."

Listening, she nods, waits for more if there is anything.

"That's... maybe Tiffany... I don't remember Tiffany..."

"But..."

"You think Tiffany might have something to do with it." A slow nod. "Okay. I know it's a Samhain memory, so I won't assume you're right. But...Dagmar, you said something was taken. Do you know of anything that's gone missing from Samhain?"

She shakes her head. "I have Flyswatter."

"All right." She nods again. "Thank you, Dagmar. Please help the others put the dishes away. I need to send a message." Kerri heads out the kitchen door into the chilly November air, phone in hand.

"Thanks..."

and some of the last cleaning up goes on more quietly
