"Oh, that's pretty sweet.."

"Good. Looks like we got you warm and in your style" He says "You give the jacket bck, we'll put that on soon, and then after that? Well, it's yours "

"I bet Kerri knows how to put it on. We could ask."

"Sure, but if she's busy she's busy"

"Well, if she shows, maybe we try it?"

"You got it. Now, I'm about to order Pizza.. got a coupon for a large and a medium, two toppings each. What do you want on them?"

"Bacon!"

"...Please."

He nods at the please, "Bacon a must. Got it. I'm a Pepperoni guy myself"

"Pepperoni is good, too. Hey, you ever have pineapple on pizza? Is it weird? Is it good?"

"I heard both, weird and good. How about Bacon and Pepperoni on the big one, Bacon and Pineapple on the medium. We try it out but stillbe sure to have something we like"

"Sounds good. See, THIS is the good kind of science..."

He chuckles at that, and the pizza is ordered. And it turns out, Dagmar likes bacon and pineapple quite a lot!

Frank is getting out of his truck, a short trip and...why is there a Sidhe waiting for him?

Bancroft waits by the parking spot

Frank keeps his face impassive, grabs his bag, and locks up the truck before turning to.....?

Bancroft greets him, "Sir King? Do you have a moment, sir?"

"Yes."

Then, after a moment. "Would you like to come up to the Lodge?"

"Well, sir, I don't know if this will take taht long," he ponders seriously "either way. I' A breath "I came to inform you of my intent to date your daughter. I know it's her call to say yes or no, but, you're an honorable man and her father, and I try to be honorable too. I care about her sir. she fascinates me. she .. I like being near her. And I don't think sneaking around about it is right"

Frank nods. "I agree with what you have said about her, and about sneaking around."

He nods back "Yes, sir. Is my intent ...well, sir, may I have your approval?"

"Not -my- approval you need, Thane."

"No sir, it's not. But I hope to earn that too anyway"

"It feels right," his brows knit almost trollishly

"Are you planning exclusivity?"

"When I date, I date just one , sir. And if it grows from there, then the Da'an is kind isn't it? "

"Make sure you and Siv are on the same page about that."

"Yes sir, I will"

The young man is sidhe, and yet he definitely has some trollish qualities

Frank takes a deep breath. "Thane, if I could have my way, No. No dating, no sneaking around, no nothing. She'd be my little girl forever. But that would be selfish and wrong, and it's not going to happen anyway. Plus, I don't make these choices by myself; I can't approve if the Chieftess doesn't approve."

"Of course," he says "I should have realized. should I present myself for the chieftian as well when there is time or do you wish to talk to her about it instead? I don't.. know how this works exactly."

"Hmmphm." The Mountain grunts. "Not sure."

'hmmmphm" nodding "Well, I suppose this is lot to take in from a father's perspective. Siv is a very wonderful girl, sir. I've never met anyone like her. She's dedicated to her duty of helping the people of the fief, yet she mixes such a joy in the task. "

"You haven't known many trolls then, have you?"

"As point of fact sir, my mother is a troll"

"But most trolls are more like, well, you. Somber."

It might unnerve a young man, to see where Siv gets that eyebrow. "Your mother is a troll?"

"Yes sir, you knew her for a time in this area, she was first dubbed 'Thralla'" The young man might be unnerved if the subject wasn't his mother not that he'd want to show it, but as his mother is the subject, there is quiet pride and resolve in and regarding his mom.

"She's doing well now, thank you." He adds.

"Thralla.... I think I recall her, now." He nods. "You're her boy? I didn't know."

"It's not something I often mention, sir. I want to get by on my own merits. Baron Kealan knows though, but learned after I'd served as his thane"

"Does Siv know?"

An almost embarrassed look, "She wore me down, sir. So yes."

Frank nods.

"She has this way of... well, she can look fierce, or wounded, and it's not ..not her trying to manipulate. If it were that I could stand against it better . It's hard to explain."
