A deep breath, and then Kerri nods reassuringly at all of them. "I'm fine. Really. It just...did something that surprised me. As I said...I want to talk to the others about it first. Now..." She straightens her shoulders and looks to them more directly sounding more like her normal self. "If you've finished your cocoa, I'm going to ask you to rake up the leaves from the practice ring. It's been left too long."

"Be happy to help, ma'am" Kelby says

Sylvi doesn't look convinced, but she finishes her cocoa. "Yes'm. Dagmar? You coming?"

Dag's jaw is starting to stick out, like a warning.

Kerri nods. "And ladies...thank you, very, very much. This is...important, I guess is the best word. It needed to be found, and I'm glad you found it."

Kelby looks over at Dagmar, unfamiliar with the look

She notes Dagmar's expression. "Please, Dagmar."

"You promise you're okay?"

Kerri nods...clearly still distracted, but otherwise seems to be fine. "And if anything bad happens, I'll let you all know."

"Thanks. " Kelby gets up to head out and help with leaves "Weirdest quest ending ever" not that she's been on that many of them

A frown, but she reluctantly puts her mug and plate in the sink. Lollygagging, yes, but moving.

"Thank you. Go on." A gentle verbal nudge as Dagmar lingers.

And she follows Sylvi, still frowning.

"Well, while we work, Dagmar, I want to know about all I hear on this bug man thing? Sounds scary..."

Sylvi is handing out the rakes.

And out they go

"Oh, bug guy? Not really a bug guy, just a sluagh that controlled bugs..."

"cool"

Kerri, once alone in the kitchen, sighs and gives the pan a half-hearted glare. "I suppose that was inevitable, hm? 'A scepter' and 'things sidhe don't want to to share'...well, fine. Fine. I just...won't use it. That's fine. I can do that."

"I can totally do that," she nods firmly to herself, then...hesitates just slightly before picking up the pan again. She gives it a thorough cleaning, dries it...and puts it away in the very furthest back corner of the deepest cabinet.

And that promise made to herself, Kerri goes back to work/And Kelby learns the story of the Bug man from the wilders that were there
