"Mrrow" Odin explains still staring

It would appear he does not want food. Head butt

"I think that's a concession..." she laughs and proceeds to stroke between his ears - stroke, not pat, and then a chin scratch... this girl is being well-trained.

Oh yes, chin scratch...very nice ..that one eye does close... in bliss.

And that loud purr commences

Dagmar smiles, content. It's friday, there's plenty of weekend ahead.

SO much weekend.

But really, she doesn't much mind. The Barn is... like a home, really. And there's Odin and Tove and TwoBit and Jaymes...

SHe can hear Jaymes on the phone below "Kpop? I ..don't think she listens to it...no. I can ask but..."

She scoops up Odin and places him on her shoulder. "Let's go see..."

Odin is too kind to make too much fuss over Dagmar's 'stomp stomp' school of stealth. Jaymes is talking, sounds like Anne Marie on the other side of the phone "More socialization? Well, I think Dagmar wants to try out for sports and I'm good wit hthat but I guess with more to do that's not quest related it might... " He glances over seeing his ward "How do you feel about K-Pop?"

"What's K-pop?"

"Korean Pop Music I guess" HE shrugs

"Oh. Uh, I don't have strong feelings?"

"not her thing" He answers for her "She's not against it but..yeah" He pauses then says "Oh I'm sure she wouldn't mind hanging out with Symon period... but hold on" He covers the phone "Anne Marie is trying to find some social actrivities for Symon. Frankly, I think he'd probably rather grow teeth than have them pulled than this idea for a K Pop club. You have a better idea for something social at school or the like he'd enjoy and you might be in on?"

"Um. Probably not basketball then..."

"...the play?"

"Huh...I'll mention " He says "They've got this play thing that needs help. I know with his whisper he's not likely to ah..sorry meaning no insult but... maybe he'd be good at lighting? OR .." He nods "Okay yeah, call me back if you find something besides that K-Pop thing... thanks, Anne Marie" He hangs up then looks at Dagmar "What on earth is an Oppa Gungam?"

"No idea."

"Well, " He says "It does give me a... are you are were your arms are currently owned by a cat?"

"Odin likes to claim them."

"He's kinda pushy."

"I noticed. " Amusement on another wise stoic face then "ANyway, gives me an idea. You still want to try out for sports?"

"Am I allowed?"

"Well, grounding aside, I don't want you missing your chance at auditions, and you're a lot safer now so.. yeah" He says

"My gym teacher wants me to try out..."

"Sounds like she oughta know talent. If you want to, go for it. I'll support you"

"Dunno how good I'll be at basketball..."

"It'll take work and practice, something to consider" He says

"I ain't afraid of work."

"And never have been" He nods "You bust your hump with sparing practice. Try for what you think you'll like, worry about how good you can get after. If you're naturally good, you work to get great, if you're merely meh, you work to get good. But I want you to have fun." A pause "And I admit, I'm hoping sports will keep you busy and out of trouble" Straight talk

"I've been super good!"

"Mmm" He says "Just being honest with you on some of my motivations."

"But I have benn."

"Yeah, you have" He says "You think I didn't notice? I did. You've been helping out at the lodge, you work hard here. Tove tells me how much you help her. You even made a Friend in Klump and he might be an ally of RIvervale now. "
