"MY duty is to eep you alive and Bug Guy might be healed up for all we know, could have heatherbalm"

"He's just as likely be be healing up, now is the time to take her out, while he's still licking his wounds" Siv protests

"I wouldn't be going alone, and you said it's important for trolls to protect."

"You're not sained..." He starts to say/ "Ahem" From behind, it's Tove, "Forgive me, Jaymes. The girl doesn't need to be sained to swing a weapon. She's proven that." She whispers something into Jaymes ear

Jaymes frowns for a moment then, "Siv. You're in charge of the patrol. Dagmar, you may go, but you need to listen to Siv. if you run into trouble and no one is indanger, I want you to withdraw. Okay? Only fight if someone's life is on the line"

She heaves a sigh, heavy as a bellows-blast. "OH-kay."

"good" He nods firm. then looks to Siv "It goes without saying..."//"That if something goes wrong you're going to expect me parents to take it out of me hide. Yes, Uncle Jaymes"

Tove winks at Dagmar behind Jaymes

"It's gonna be awesome, just you wait..." A grin at Tove.

Tove nods "I'm sure it will be."

He nods, stoicly "Welcome."

She stands there, awkwardly, before sticking out a hand.

A bit of a smile on him, "You're welcome, Dagmar' gentler "Just.. go on. Have uhm. fun."

A flash of a smile. "Well... okay. Ok. Siv, you ready?"

Siv mmphs "Come on, let's get patrolling where I'll be in charge and order no more talkk of me nose" And out they go

Dagmar chuckles, a content baritone rumble, and follows.

Patroling turns out to be mostly walking, looking around, and sometimes asking questions of local fae seeing how they're doing. It turns out that Symon is not home when they go near his house, but his Step Mom is happy to tell them "All's well here. Oh, do you two girls want a snack while you travel?"
