Tove sips and smilesstill uhm.. recovering but she isnt' really hiding admiration for Jaymes in her gaze

Torrin seems to be thinking about something as he watches this.

"Good. Now, not sure If I said it earlier or not, but thank you for the coffee"

"Coffee is for trolls. Clem made it, though. I wasn't sure how much goes in."

"Someone should teach her, or the Chieftain will end up with huge eyes and looking at her mug as if it betrayed her..." Vali starts to say, then grins "On second thought, no one teach her."

"I'll teach her, " Tove starts to get up and looks a bit fuzzy "Soon as i'm sober."

Clem says "Tove, you're going to go easy with both that hand and with that voice for a few days. You need to let some non magical healing have its way"

"Three days! No singing!"

"Those are the rules. Hey, maybe you can have lots of popsicles?"

"But i like to sing" Tove actually pouts

"I can get some" Jaymes says "Popsicles I mean"

"Tough cookies."

Torrin muses this over then , "Unless Dagmar or Jaymes object, Tove, you're staying here while you heal."

" What flavor do you like? I can get cherry, grape, lemon, lime and ..." Jaymes looks at Torrin stunned

"She can! She can sleep on the couch, and I can make ramen!"

"And eggs!"

"We have a guest bedroom" Jaymes says trying to adapt to the idea of this woman's father leaving her with him "Bed and everything. We'll help her rest."//Tove says "i'm a bit sore in the throat and hand, but as soon as i'm sobeer Ill be able to take care of myself. Father, why on earth..."//Torrin holds up a hand "Because I'll be singing a lot, practicing and more, and a lot of your instruments are at our place. If I sing around you you're going to want to join in. No, Tove. Here or the lodge, but not near me. I lovee you too muh for that and will not have you slip into it."//tove's mouth falls oopen then, "FIne I guess... sincee.. Dagmar doesn't mind" A look to the girl "You sure?'

"Sure! We can watch Doctor Strange, like we were saying, right?"

"I'd like that, "Tove shoots a shy look to Jaymes,then nods back to Dagmar "I would enjoy it greatly. Fine. I choose to stay here" primly

Clem mutters something

Torrin nods "Of course you do." He rises "Now, I think I'll leave you folks be. I'll check now and then, of course."

"I'd love to see Doctor St..." Vali starts to say, Clem pokes him and says "No, Vali. Remember, you were going to talk to me about Winter magics?"//"I was since.. oh.. oh yeah, let's go, young Padawan" He waves

"Sure, sure..."

They filter out and Tove slowly sobers, and also turns purple as she glances at Jaymes, but fortunately? well, they have a movie to watch and take her mind off he embarrasing uhm.. affection she showed

Dagmar takes charge!

In addition to eggs and ramen, it seems she can also microwave popcorn...

And Tove is propped up in the middle of the couch between Dag and Jaymes.

Tove goes easy on the popcorn, her throat and all but she likes the eggs and ramen. /The Seating placement is not lost on Jaymes who gives Dagmar a suspicious look

Dag is content to watch the movie, and appears totally innocent as to seating arrangements!

Mmph. okay then. Whatever her intent or not her intent, at some of the more riveting parts of the story, the skald squeeze (With her good LEFt hand) Jaymes' hand and leands against Jaymes' shoulder whodoes not seem to mind/// More gently, Tove angles so that if Dagmar wants to lean on HER while she leands on Jaymes, it's ok

Dag, it seems, is not a leaner.

But sharing space seems... okay.

No worries there... Jaymes doesnt' even realize it when he squeezes tove's good hand back.

And... yeah, it's... nice. Considering how horrible things were just hours ago, happinness, like a thief, has snuck into the house and joins the trio for some popcorn and mystic mayhem.

And if Dagmar dozes off on the couch, well...

It had been a long day.

Dagmar is not a leaner...well not while awake... and as she sleeps, "She was so fearless" Tove says looking at the way Dagmar's hair falls "You must be the proudest father" //He starts to protest that that, honor, has never been specified but then, the kid is a sleep, HIS kid is... asleep "Yes. yes I am."
