I'm a skald I am mythic with words... and I remember the rotty tree thing and the bite and...then Dagmar came to my rescuee and YOU came too... and... he was going to send this bug to kill one of you so I SMOOOSHED it in my hand and it bit me..." she looks at her hand "Huh, it's just a tiny mark now. Weird"

"Clem healed you. Do you want water? Should I get her water?"

"Good idea," Torrin says, "or Coffee"

"Oh! Clemm.. hail to thee favored daughter of Iowa" tove wiggles her fingers , then a gasp "Uhm.. (Hicc) Hi daddy? Uhm.. it was just a kiss. Jaymes and I haven't done anything really fun yet." And she nods

Dag purples.

She ain't alone, as Jaymes does the same. "Ah, Elder Torrin, I would never consider..."

Torrin raises a brow, "WOuldn't consider you saying there's something wrong with my daughter?"

Okay, time to go to the kitchen. Some talk, she'd rather avoid.

Hey, maybe everybody would like water or coffee... Kerri, it seems, remains an influence.

So it would seem... Clem follows Dagmar, "Hey, let me take a look over you too. You got any injuries, Dagmar?"

"Nah, I just cut some vines. Jaymes fought the guy. You shoulda heard it! Boom boom, muthaf-..."

"I can guess the rest" Clem chuckles . She looks the girl over, "You seem okay. Sounds like you cutting the vines was kind of crucial. And you heard her music being stopped."

"I could hear her from the balcony, and it just.. it cut off real sudden, and that didn't seem right."

Some fiddling with the coffeemaker. She fills it all the way up with water, but seems less certain about how many grounds to scoop in.

Well... if she filled the WATER the whole way....

"Here, let me help you. I can't cook worth anything " A sigh "But Coffee I can make. Know too many RIvervale folks not to. Now, Tove is going to be on the mend, and she's going to hate this, but she needs to not sing too strongly for a day or three and go easy on that hand, which might mean she can't use instruments recklessly. You think you can give her a nudge if she starts to?"

"Three days, no singing. Okay."

"Maybe she can, like, drum left handed..."

"Maybe," A pause "I worry Torrin singing around her might Make HER slip"

"She's not dumb, though."

"And I'd think listening would help. I like his singing, too."

"Oh he's got a wonderful voice, they both do. That's why we want to keep her voice intact." the coffee is soon ready, and a glass of cold water for Tove Clem puts them on a tray "you want me to get this or?"

"I got it!" Tray of mugs and glasses to go (and a water for Dagmar, too!)

"I didn't think you were going to take.." Hic "Advantage of me, Jaymes. Father, stop putting him in no win sitch..situations. I'm drunk not stupid. " When she sees Dagmar she smiles a bit goofily "She is such a great girl, isn't she a great girl?" To Jaymes.//Jaymes nods "She is."///"See," Tove says to Dagmar as if winning an argument, "You're a wonderful girl."

"Um..." Purple. Frown. Shrug. "Water?"

"Yes, thank you, sorry, honey I just..." Tove takes it and drinks slow "I'm a bit giggly. But... bbut...drinking isn't the answer"

Vali looks amused at this

"Water helps stop hangovers before they happen."

Jaymes nods, "that's right" He takes a coffee and sips it, "mmm? "

Tove's brows narrrow "If you tell her coffee is no good I will splash you"

Jaymes coughs//Clem comes in and confesses If it was no good it would be half my fault."

torrin turns to Clem, "So is my little girl going to be okay?"

"Little girl" Tove ffts "Pa-pa, I'm a troll, I haven't been 'little' since I was 12"

"I bet you were tall at twelve."

"I was.. though it was okay, trolls are supposed to be tall" She says "I've noticed they mortal men are a bit inseure about all women sometime. "Hmph. I'll be glad when I get real tall."

"Oh not too long now," Tove nods and sips "You're already getting there..."//Clem says "You know it's not tallness that makes you more or less a troll do you? I mean, I've seen 7 foot tall warriors take on and licck 8 foot tall ones"

"Oh no" CLem says "I that's not how it works. Sometimes,you run into someone who feels that to make themselves feel big, they're go after the biggest girl or guy around...to prove something. Jaymes raises a brow "Well, we'll talk about that later. I..think you might want to remember the Code of Dagda. With our power..."//"Shh sh.." Tipssy Tove says "Don't ..don turn it into a lecture, she'll think you're chastising... tell her she was wonderful in this crisis, because she was. And..talk about the codes and right use of violence later. "

"But what if they hit first?"

"I just said I'd talk about that later..." Jaymes states then... looks at Dagmar " Okay... here." He sits down "First, you don't have to be a punching bag for anyone. That's true. Someone hits you, you do not have to stick around. You do not have to 'take it'. Okay? You do have a right to defend yourself. but don't let folks goad you. And... try to use the RIGHT amount of force. If Thor got punched by some drunk Hydra agent, well, thor could DESTROY the guy with a hammer swing, right?"

"So Thor has to use enough strength to lay that bastard out, adn not break every bone in hisbody or worse, kill him. It's not easy,but that's... kind of what trolls are. We're power AND responsibility. Am I making any sense?" Jaymes asks
