"Well - plants have babies, don't they? Or a fire could make a new fire..."

"I suppose yes, though I don't trust the Solminoids... there was a war... oh, that' the Fire people"

Siv blinks 'there are fire people , are there water people?"

"Of course" he nods "Though the ones you'd meet would be the exiles, wounded and weary and seeking. The great dreams fo the sea are BEYOND most's reach"

"well, yees but I'd love to meet the water folk... " Siv says

Klump whispers a bit too loudly towards Dagmar 'your friend is nice, but biased."

"Well, she grew up on a boat."

"Oh..." he nods

"She was born on a boat, even!"

"I don't whisper quietly enough, do I?" Klump whispers still too loudly to Dagmar

"Well, you're louder than Symon."

"almost everyone is louder than Symon" Siv says

"Symon is a good whisperer, though."

"Have I met Symon?" Klump asks

"Oh, you need to! He's a sloo-ah."

"And my friend."

"A Slooo-aaah" He repeats then nods "if he is your friend I will trust him. though I ask you keep my anchor secret"

"Your anchor?" Siv says, as that's a word that has her interest

"Oh bother" Klump face palms

She nods. "I haven't. Except, I mean, I guess Jaymes... but I didn't know he was following me.."

"mmm maybe I should met your chief to be sure that she will have the lodge keep my secret" Klump says

"Oh ma is great," Siv assures, "You do fair by her ,she'll do fair by you. SHe's true blue..." A pause "In all senses of the phrase"

"You should! You are welcome. And you could see the big green fire, and the kitchen - do you eat food? - and my bedroom!"

"I can taste food. I don't really need to it it, but I would be happy to visit"

"And so you should. Right, Siv?"

"RIght. Frankly I think she'd be delighted to have ye over. And Da will be happy to exchange knowledge for knowledge. we call his position a mountain."

"A mountain, my..." the Glome says "That is very interesting indeed"

"But not an actual mountain."

"A symbolic mountain?"

"Right. " Siv says

"I would like to meet your mother and father then, Siv." A nod to her, then a look to Dagmar "You will be with there I hope? "

A bright grin. "Absolutely!"

"GOod. I am shy" He admits

Siv whisprs "he's adorable" but a bit too loud.

the Glome's stone brow knits, then realization 'Oh! that's what that's like. I get it now"

"Lots of new people can kinda suck. But... well.. the Rivervale crew... I mean, they've been pretty good to me.."

"Maybe you could come by in the morning? I can tell the Chief so she's ready."

"I am glad" He nods, "I will try. things may come up. Sometimes I sleep late" adding "Sorry but i do."

"Well, I like sleeping in, too."

"Though if I sleep too late I miss the good breakfast and still have to wash dishes..."

"that is indeed a conundrum. I do not eat, but if I did and I liked it, it would be a hard choice"

Siv smiles "Well, if you don't make it we'll meet another time, but it was good to meet you, Klump" A look to Dagmar "We should probably head back. we've been talking for awhile"
