"Closer to the lodge, could walk there."

"That's a big bonus" he says, and they finish up their food, he seems to have no problem with his fries becoming their fries

She makes certain there is not a fry gone to waste.

Once they are done, he rises and puts the tray a way, "Need to go to the restroom first or ready to go?"

"I'm good!"

Back into the truck they go. This time, they head the opposite way of where they've been driving, and perhaps to her liking, it definitely is more country than the second house.

She looks out the windows, watching the growing number of trees.

This one has a narrow bridge across a stream area, the truck fits, barely "That could be a pain" he comments as they pull up to the craftsman

"Trees!"

"Yeah, and not right up next to it" He looks at the craftsman, "But that, has seen better days"

"I like the porch."

The cratsman was probably quite grand once, but a wall seems to have collappsed on the side and been crappiy patched.

"Ohhhh... Jaymes? I think it's missing a wall."

"Well, yeah. someone patched it to keep the weather and bugs out but yeah" He frowns and heads up to the door. The porch looks pretty good. Some touch ups needed.

WHen they enter he looks around "Hope you like wood" Wood walls, wood floors.

"Sure..." She touches the walls, giving an experimental push.

the first layer gives too much, but under that a solid lair. Someone refitted this house all wrong

"Oh dreaming preserve me, I think someone put wood on top of wood"

"Yeah... weird."

THen they come to the two bedrooms on the ground floor. The master is large, nice, looks out on things. Hey, the bathroom is positively an En Suite with a huge tub ,nice tile. THIS part of the House is well preserved and almost classy "Geez, I'd get spoiled in this" THere's a forest green black splash that works, very foresty indeed

"Fancy, yeah - but how much is the structural work?"

"I think this bathroom maybe the most solid thing in the house' Note entirely joking. THen they go to the othe room near the master.

And..her heart sinks.

It's...nice, but narrow, oh tall ceiling, but the window is small. IT's a wooden box instead of a plaster one is all.

"Oh..."

"Eh.." A sniff "Shot. Well, this is supposed to have three bedrooms. Check upstairs?"

"Sure." She heads off to check.

Where as the downstairs is all wood, the upstairs bedroom (And there isn't much but the bedroom upstairs and a bathroom) is more...typical. Paint and all...

and the bedroom up here is almost like a second master

An eyebrow at the... glass doors? Is that a balcony?

It is.

"Oh, cool..."

"Okay, I think this one maybe a loss, I mean, great en suite.... which I admit was a term I did not know until 'mister I am of a french house' told me, but we'll have to put in a new wall, and this bedroom for you down here sucks. What do we have up..." He is climbing up

Dagmar is outside, looking out over the yard!

Deep in the hundred acre wood, where KrisTHORrobin plays, you'll find a forested back yard, where you can throw lightning all day

"Oh, this place also had the most property" He says "I mean, mostly behind it. "He says noticing where she is and looking around "You know? This room isn't bad. HEck, it's almost as big as the master"

"Yeah. Come look!"

HE goes on the balcony and looks out "Mm yeah" He nods "We're about two miles further away from the lodge than we would be at the first house"

"So - what, three miles?"

"Eh, closer to four Not sure"

"THis house will take a lot of work."

"But you really seem to like the view"

"It's nice, but the first house was real close to the lodge..."

"True." He says "I think the real question is, which one made you happy?"

"Well... I like this one and the first one. I... I really don't like the second..."

"Second is out" He agrees "It might be right for some? but it wasn't us. We're not..boxy"

"Felt like a prison." She harrumphs.

"THen definitely out."

"Now this one has a bridge, so on the plus side, some water nearby. Downside, vali will not stop with the trolls and bridges jokes"

She snorts but grins. "Yeah."
