The hands break through the tile! Sylvi knows they're Chimerical, Sam somehow knows they're real . trapped in a bathroom, the last time that happened... each Hand is as big as person, and they scuttle like spiders towards her, the left is female, the right is male, both ...both brought slaps and shakes...and they speak "You should be grateful you have a home, you little nothing" the female hand grows fanged mouth, biting, and snappinng

"You will do as we say, and we will discipline you as we fucking FIT" the male hand roars, "You try to tell them we're just using you for money again, and we'll GIVE them a reason to take you away!"

Her eyes widen and she takes a step backwards.

Sylvi looks at the tile. "Yeahhhh...you probably will kick my ass, but not right now." Then the hands emerge and Sylvi's got her bowie knife in hand and attacks. "Fight them!" She urges Sam. "Do it!"

"This isn't... this isn't happening..."

The feminine hand reaches forward and PINCHES Sam, it hurts! Her shoulder feels as tender as an earlobe in a twist "Don't you ignore us!"

Sam feels something in her hand, a ... long pole, an axe thing on the top? Why does it feel so familiar?

She yanks back, trying to pull free of the punishing grip.

"It is happening, and you'd better deal with it right now." Sylvi stabs again.

And then.. her hand finds the grip, the leather wrapping somehow familiar...

Sam pulls back with superhuman strength, as Sylvi draws blood from the Lady hand once, twicce

It can bleed! they can be hurt! they're not invulnerable!

"You're stronger than they are!" Sylvi urges.

"Hit them!"

Sylvi gets finger flicked by the male hand, it feels like a sledge just struck her!

A nearly feral growl and she draws the halberd from her back, swinging it like a grandslam slugger at the female hand.

"Sharper than a serpents tooth!" the female hand SCREAMS in pain and bleeds, scuttingling about like a wounded spider still intent on making the kill

Yet somehow both giant hands look smaller now

"Ooof!" Sylvi doubles over for a moment, then is back in the fight...but such a small blade....

She reverses her grip and swings another arc - a cleaner stroke this time, silver blade glinting in the grimy lights.

"About damn time...." she says as Sam finally kicks into gear.

She actually steps back a bit, waiting it out, there to offer help if the new chrysalid needs it, but wanting to let her settle her foes.

"Rahh!" A thrust - the halberd's head has a wicked spear point in addition to the hooked axe.

A finger flies off the female hand, like the head of a hydra being severed, but no new growth occurs.

And then she stabs it through the palm and down it goes!

The male hand lunges forward

A grunt as she frees her weapon from the first - when it takes too long, she whallops the male with a sideswipe, using the corpse as a bludgeon.

It drives it back, but this time, the male hand snarls "No one will ever love you!" And grabs the shaft of her weapon trying to tear it from her grip "You will never have anyone that wants you"

Sylvi watches, careful...and more than a little impressed.

She digs in her heels, stubbornly yanking against the Hand's efforts.

And then drives in to stab the back of the male hand. "WE want her!"

Sylvi's words and strike both catch the male hand off guard, and she strikes some artery or vein in the hand

And Sam...Dagmar! Takes her weapon BACK

Sylvi steps back out of range again. "Finish it."

NOW, a crushing blow - bringing the hammer down.

It twitches, whimpers, and... is no more, and two trolls stare at the remains while a rabbit says "Oh so much to explain"

The teenager breathes heavily, looming over the fading remains. She's easily gained a foot in height, towering over the stalls.

"Nice," Sylvi says with an appreciative smile, looking at the spot where the last hand was.

"You're blue."

And she puts her blade away. "Yup. So're you."

Sylvi's also a good amount taller than her mortal mein, though not quite as tall as her. "What do you want me to call you?"

...So's she. A slatey shade, with grey undertones, though those hazel eyes are still bright. Her voile settles - sturdy fabrics in blue and brown, viking in character.

"I'm Dagmar."

A frown, and she shakes her head. "S-sam. My name is Sam..." but this is said with a certain lack of conviction.

Sylvi watches and tries not to get too dizzy from the abundance of glamour...oh, that's nice... and she nods. "You're both. You're Sam, because you've been Sam for a while this time around, but Dagmar's who you are on the inside, and who you've been a lot longer. And whatever you thought you were going to be doing this weekend is pretty much tossed out the window, so I hope you didn't have big plans."

"Why are we blue? I don't... I don't have any plans. Did you do something? Was it the juice?"

"No, the juice was just juice. I was trying to get you out of sight. You don't want to go through a chrysalis in front of a crowd...they'll think you're crazy."

"Chrysalis?" Wary, hackles raised. "I'm not crazy."

A deep breath. "This is going to take a lot of explaining. And I mean like a year's worth. But let's get started. Okay...I'm Sylvi, and I've always been Sylvi because I've been like this since I started but most folks can't see it. You and I are both trolls. And no, you're not crazy."

"So, a chyrsalis is what just happened when folks like you and me figure out what we are, and they happen at the WORST times." She looks at her. "Say your names again. Both of them."
