The Liam sighs, his expression cloudy.

More whispers "Oh, I'd feel hungry though. Same as it ever was..what else?"

She hesitates...then reaches to touch August's hand, gently.

Mrs. DuBois says "Look, I'm getting tired of waiting around. Is this person really going before me?"

"I wasn't aware you were sure on going at all" The Clurichaun said

His hand just kind of hangs there, as he watches the decisions being made.

"Just give me whatever," the homeless guy says "Even that cap thing..anything's better." //"Excuse me? Mrs DuBois starts to fuss.

It's Caspian who pulls the sidhe aside, "Is it just me, or is Mrs. DuBois a bit of a ..well, unpleasant woman"

"Please, Mrs. Dubois. Be patient." He urges gently. "You can be generous." Then turns to Caspian.

Coradel sighs to Caspian and murmurs, "She awful."

"Then why are we so eager to ... is this a Liam thing then?" Not judging, just curious

August looks at the ground, then back to the homeless man.

Coradel glances at August, then back to Caspian. "It's what all mortals deserve. The chance to choose, with full knowledge."

"Huh, I think you are better people than I am.."

"Ohh this is just too confusing... "And Mrs. DuBois blinks out even as the Cluraichaun tried to explain things.

"Oh well, and yourself sir?" The Cluarichaun asks. And the homeless guy nods, then says, "One moment..>" he walks up to August.

Coradel sighs. "She'll forget it soon enough."

"Put here there, pal," The homeless guy offers his hand to August, "I'm going to go with this guy but... you gave me a fair shake. I wanted to thank you for that. Nobody treated me like I was worth shit before. But.. you mean it. You think I'm worth something and.. It was nice to hear."

August exhales, with relief, and shakes the man's hand. "Choose wisely, and do better."

"It ain't alwaysabout what you do, sometimes it's about what happens TO you, but I'll take that as a wish for luck. You too. You elves are all right."

Coradel smiles gently and squeezes August's free hand.

There is a small sign of life; the movement of finger tips.

The man heads off, and one of the fae spirits and he..TALK... and you can tell the fae spirit is as nervous as the homeless guy. They appear to have a bargain.

Coradel watches the two talk, and softly says, "That's how it should work."

OOC Any idea on what kind of spirit?

"Perhaps." He does not disagree.

Her hand remains in his.

A shadowy whispering figure is conversing..oh, a sluagh soul.

The two go into a small tent which begins to whirl and spin and glow and...zork. Both fae and mortal soul appear gone. Having landedwhoknowswhere in the the Autumn World

August's face is very grave.

Lonnie gives August a hug "He'll be fine. And now so will I."

He exhales a chuckle and hugs her back, one-armed. "Good. I'm glad."

A smile at Lonnie.

A piskie who was talking to her, comes forward, "You folks should go. You're not that welcome, but... Maybe Ican help you yet. What you looking for?"

August swallows, his expression smoothing to neutrality. "The River Ethel."

She nods agreement.

"Well, you're on the right path. there's a bridge you can get onto, lots of birds of prey statuary. they can help you. Later, you'll find a snow storm, this one is constant... but rather than white, the colors of the flakes change. You'll want to go through it to get further into the dreaming. Oh, one more thing" He offers up.. coats? thick, patchy, but well made and "Keep you from freezing."

August nods and takes them, offering her choice to Coradel. "Thank you, friend. You are very kind."

Coradel takes one. "What can I offer you for these?"

"Not a thing, just get out of here before you get me in trouble with my boss... and... thanks for saving Lonnie. This pays off her debt a little maybe?"

"Right of Life. No debt, not to me."

"Well, same reason to keep you warm then"

"She owes us nothing." Coradel shrugs into the coat.

"Thank you."

August does the same.

They're well made, and much warmer

"Thank you." He says again.

OOC: And one is handed to the Eshu as well, as Caspian would like to remind the ST he's here too

Coradel had to remove August's cloak to put on the coat, and she offers it back to him.
