How are they holding up?

Well, it's a horrific murder still in investigation, the killer quite litterally having gotten away with it so far. Funeral is thursday, visits on Wednesday .... and I think they have relations who understandibly in shock they're trying to help.

I think they're holding up pretty good given that, but between this and death by cancer for another housemat's mother we really, selfishly, would like a collectively "Boring" month, and it seems we are just not getting it this year.

Murder??

Yes, by now it is apparently on news in the area, my house mate's sister in law was killed (They live over 300 miles away) while home alone. Looks like a knife attack IIRC what I was told. Grim gory shit, and all signs are she was targeted as NOTHING was stolen.

Now the body wasn't found or even known about until roughly 48 hours after death IIRC, which means chances of finding the real killer are slim.

what the fuck

The husband, a housemate's brother, was in another state along with one of their sons. Another Son was the one who FOUND his mom dead when he got worried after two days when she didn't answer her phone. Honestly, if this were a True Crime TV show I'd think they made shit up for drama, but it really is what I've been told.

I suppose technically it has not been declared a murder yet, in the legal sense but it looks like it.

And yeah, their youngest son is 20 I think so they're all 'adults' but holy shit.
