I slept in, had breakfast, am contemplating shower

I think I out-socialed myself the past few weeks

I often feel the same. Talked to strangers or at least 'not friends' for an hour and just wanted to nap for an hour after in silence.

She doesn't make Bianca's Bird Noise, but she does thump her tail

My housemate , the one who is the 'cats' mom' here, left for a half week. That's always humbling. She got a package outside so I pick it up to drop it off in her area, one the cats makes a happy noise, approaches, then sees that it is not mom, it's ME, and gets an utter look of feline disgust and disappointment 😉

People who claim cats don't care for their humans are so ignorant

Oh they're kind of sweet despite my anecdote, but yes, I am NOT who they love that much and that's okay G

And yes, cats love their folks too.

Oh, the cat will be mad with you if you shower her along with yourself. most cats would be.

And you can't go anywhere without her

so you're trapped in a paradox!

Bianca was always so funny about the shower

She would always poke her face around the curtains with this LOOK. Like she was concerned I had gone temporarily mad.

And then, because I was clearly insane, she would then guard the bathroom until I was done

You weren't well and needed looking after!

Clearly privacy and you were strangers for awhile!

The cats here have gone into my bathroom when it was open at odd times though never during a shower

Ramona is a snuggler, though. Especially at night.

She won't get out of the bed until I do.

Eve likes to snuggle but can be a bit rough as she climbs up on you forgetting she has claws if she's not careful but she HATES being picked up. Dee snuggles less, but will tolerate folks picking her up (She just lays there looking offended)

Ramona sometimes demands being held like a baby

but just for a little bit, and then Down
