I'm doing okay. Today wasn't too bad. Yesterday one of my tires went flat in the parking lot at work, but of all the flat tires I've had to deal with in my life, this time was the smoothest. The AAA guy was quick, my spare was in good shape, the garage was still open, and they fixed it in less than half an hour for $20.

AAA is a good investment in my experience 🙂

ABSOLUTELY. They've gotten me out of several jams.

Some 40 years ago, I would have changed the tire myself. But, like I said, that was 40 years ago.

We had such a warm day up here, I put on my light jacket instead of my winter coat.

There's still plenty of snow on the ground, but it's mostly melted from the pavement.

I'm in kinda half-bleary mode.

Tomorrow we get a half day of teaching, and then an afternoon of professional development.

The agenda for the PD is that representatives from a textbook company are going to come in and tell us about their textbooks. Which we don't use. It's going to be a full-afternoon commercial.

Ugh. That sounds about as fun as a dental inspection

And I won't have the satisfaction of pearly-white teeth afterwards.

Okay, the drowsies have overtaken me.

Also learning somethings about her early days at her audition for Star Trek itself. Apparently they didn't even have a name for her character when she came out. They told her to just read from the script from the Spock parts. She goes "Sure, now what's this Spock like as a character?" And it seemed to confuse them that she wanted to get INTO it, and they said "Well, you won't actually PLAY Spock on the show... he's a man." And she goes "Well, COULD Spock be a woman?"

This ALSO blanked them, then one said "Well, YES... but Leonard Nimoy would be upset" 😄
