Thing1 has been in the habit of wearing 'camp pants' or convertibles. Zip off/on around the knee to make shorts. They were practical for the last few years.

(Then again, I only own two pairs of jeans that FIT…)

Between camping with the Scouts and PE at school, convertibles made good sense. NOW however....

There is a hitch, though. The welcome email's link to the welcome packet is down. So he can't read up. Try again tomorrow.
