okay. Family maybe visiting in the next few days. So I'll be stressing and guessing on if/when/how and the judgment that will flow freely

I'm going to run away from home....

I hear that.

But why?

First thing this morning....coffee.
Second thing - call boss and explain the sitch here. She tells me to get the family taken care of.

Coordinate feeding Thing2 in his room where he's sequestered until after treatment and DH in our room b/c he's still sick; Thing1 makes the food. I manage to eat, dress, find the treatment stuff I need, and ... oh, hey, kitchen item has arrived at Lowes, so I'll get that too since the drugstore and Lowes are next to each other.

Took Lowes 30 minutes to get my items from the cargo area to my car. Okay.

Grab something to eat, there goes the calorie count and meal plan for the day but f-it, hungry. Get home with all the stuff, get the bathroom set up to treat Thing2, and begin.

Thing1 didn't start the Very Important laundry when he should have, so now that's running behind but I won't find that out for another two hours (more wasted time) because I'm treating Thing2.

Meanwhile, DH has absented himself to his office to rest, which is fine, as he's still sick.

The treatment takes... a while. It's painstaking. But we get through it. Now all the stuff we used for the treatment needs to be double-bagged and tossed or sterilized. So that's in progress. The laundry is still going. Everyone had dinner. I'm pooped.

We ALL need that vacation, Mr. D.

And, Thing2 has a follow up appt at a treatment center and I'd dubious about it's efficacy but.... f-it. Why not.

So.... 3/4 people in the house have been inspected... Thing2 is now shampooed, comb-sprayed, his mattress is sprayed, his bedding is scalded and dried, his clothing and outerwear and gear is bagged up in the garage waiting the same treatment, all the REST of the bedding in the house has been scalded and dried, or is in some part of that process, INCLUDING all the feckin' pillows, AND we have regular laundry to do..... probably most of it on the scalding setting.

The purge has begun!
