'm a bit torn on Madern's role in the kitchen. Marigld never intended to give up any kitchen duties, and the entire hire of an additional help was to take care of her OTHER stuff so that she could spend her time in the kitchen instead.

Madern just kinda... weaseled his way in 🙂
