I had a spout of the depression.

Then I had country steak and got over it

Steak is very therapeutic.

I found it to be. Also, it was reallly good today.

We had pizza. And garlic knots. And cannoli. Oof.

We also started putting up holiday decorations. Bit by bit.

The tree is going to be really pretty when it's all together.

Ours is simple... because too many ornaments attract cats

We strategically put cat-friendly ornaments near the bottom so they're allowed to bat at some of them.

This year, though, we've moved the tree to a different spot, and it's near a radiator (no longer used)...which means the cats will be able to climb up on that and get more access to more ornaments.
