We honestly don't know how the crack started.

Well, he had a heart attack at the end of May. He had a stent put in, and then tried to come back to work right away, but had a kind of relapse. Then they discovered he had gall bladder issues, so he was out on medical leave for the end of the school year. But I thought it was kind of odd that he's still in the hospital.

Well, he posted today that he's got Multiple Myeloma (sp?), a blood cancer.

So, while I'm not, like, grieving or anything, I'm a bit...distracted?

Yeah. He'd been holding off on telling folks in general because his daughter was away at camp, and he didn't want her to find out second-hand, so he was waiting for her to get home (yesterday) to tell her, and then he posted it.

Think he'd be offended by a few prayers from a stranger?
