And... Turns out I will be gone Thursday and returning Sunday

so my parents get their extra day because of COURSE they do

Went to the Golf Ball Park today and played. Saw some :male-police-officer::skin-tone-2: managers I knew, was welcomed. Met up with some work-friends at the Rose and Crown pub for a sing-song with a live piano player that one of my work-friends knew. Then we walked together for a while, and then split up in our groups to ride rides and, more importantly, eat.

And now we are home.

Okay. Rose and Crown is a great name for a pub!

The pub is adjacent to the dining room.

We had the best fish and chips DH has found in the US at the pub, then ate our way around the world. Our final snack looked like this:

a bill comes, I go to the website to pay the bill

I do not OPEN the bill

and they accumulate, alongside junk mail and the like

and at the end of the month or so, I have to go through and open up the stack

I appreciate, it would be sensible to open it every day
