I am at my mother's longer than normal, because I would normally go over the mountain to see stepmom, but stepmom is in north carolina

So Friday, the 30th, I am getting on a train t Harrisburg for NYE

so that is over a week at my mother's

which is... long

but it seems silly to go up & back

there is a train from mom to Harrisburg, but not from here

Will Ramona be with you?

Yes. NYE gets me back to Mom's on Monday night, so back up to Ytown on Tues the 3rd

back DOWN to Mom's on Weds the 4th

out to Philly on Thurs the 5th

Service and BACK on Fri the 6th

We have Hairspray tickets on Sat the 7th, so I get home home on Sun the 8th

it is much more time away from home than I want, but not sure how to fix it, save cancelling the thing I really want to do (NYE)

It's an investment of time, but it sounds like a good one.

If it was a case of me driving vs taking the train, to be perfectly frank, I wouldn't do it. I hate the drive, I get anxious & avoidant

They are at winter camp... which to be fair is not a bad time to camp in Florida.

They have not texted me they are cold. Yet. I may hear something in the morning.

I have camped at 45

sleeping bag, wool blanket, works out ok.

I have slept colder than that at a few events

They're in a 3man tent (2/tent w/gear) but I don't think they're in the SAME tent. So they'll have that body heat. They have rated sleeping bags. Thing2 brought PJs. I finally pressed a hoodie on Thing1 and he accepted grudgingly.
