Well, she's a redcap and that doctor is going to be a problem. So she needs to not-need the doctor anymore. The Lodge can help, a bit, but the idea of the hat is to make it so when she feels like she's going to display the 'symptoms' she's being 'helped' with, she can put the hat on and it will start to turn red as it leaches the 'symptoms' away. It's not going to be permeant, she's going to need to take the violence and aggression back out of the hat and get it truly out of her system... but if she can appear 'cured' then she won't need the doc or the pills.

Heya! Checking in, as promised. Was exhausted by 9pm last night, went to sleep in the tent...and by morning (very cold!) it was clear that my air mat was the one with the leak in it. Drove 20 min to buy a new one, 20 min back to site, got it all set up, and took a NAP.

I hope you have better luck with getting your offspring college-bound than I did, Shady.

I'm not stressing about college-or-not, TBH. I want them to be productive, constructive, positive members of society. If that includes college, fine. If they go to Orange County Technical and learn welding or HVAC repair, fine. If they start off selling popcorn on Main Street at the House of Mouse.... fine. Get a job, find a passion, live a life, love and be loved.

Thing1 has significant challenges getting into college, at this point, and is just about out of time (realistically). It honestly might not be the best choice for him.
