I pulled leftovers last night and made fried chicken fried rice. Thing1 ate the entire (FULL) pan.

We were, understandably, cleaning out some fridge space. Fried chicken breast, leftover green beans, leftover rice AND leftover take-out bourbon chicken and rice, and a carrot, rib of celery, onion.

I have found the boys will eat rolled oatmeal. I like steal cut but I'll eat rolled. I cook it in the microwave and add a bit of brown sugar and vanilla to the mix before I cook it. V.nice.

Thing1 has to get up at 5 and has an hour to rocket out the door. I used to get up at the same time but with the New!Job I don't have to. So now, just to share something with him in the morning, I prep a breakfast the night before for him. He can get up, heat up, and eat up and know I was thinking of im.
